Ch.11

"Just show me the dress damn"

"No no no , quick asking me"

"I just wanna make sure it's okay for dinner"

"Okay for dinner? You showed me dress that made me look like a slut"

"It was nice and that's not always a bad thing"

"You're inappropriate" I say

"It was a nice fancy dress for a dinner"

"It looked like I was going out to a club"

"See Now you're just making shit up here" he shakes his head

"At least tell me what color the dress is?"

"If you must know it's black"

"I showed you like 5 black dresses at the store!"

"And I didn't like the ones you showed me"

"Well that's crazy"

"It's also my opinion , I'm the one that has to wear the dress anyways"

"Okay okay you're right".

We are in his office right now. I been here for about 2 hours doing work and just ..... talking to him I guess. Dinner is this Sunday and that's all he's worried about and my dress.

"I'll pick you up on Sunday around 6 , dinner is at 7 , it's only about 20 minutes away from here" he tells me and I nod as I do work on my laptop. "Hear me?!"

"Yes I heard you" I say with attitude.

We hear a knock at his big office door
"Come in" He yells and the door opens and I see him stand up. I look behind me at the door to see Alexis. "What are doing here?"

"I been texting you and calling you G-"

He cuts her off "Don't call me that"

"I just wanna talk to you" She says

"About what?" He ask and I just pretend I'm reading something on my laptop but I'm really listening in on the convo.

"Us our marriage" she says

"There is no us or marriage , we are divorced" he says

"I'm just trying to talk to you"

"Talk!" He yells

"Alone I mean" oh she wants me to leave.

"Whatever you need to say you can say in front of her too" he says . Oh god here he gooooo.

"No! I wanna talk alone not in front of your fucking girlfriend" she says

"Then get out of my office , I don't even know why you think I wanna talk to you!"

"Fine!" She shouts and leaves as she slams his office door

"What a bitch!"

"Don't call her that" I say

"Courtney don't play with me right now" he says as he sits back down.

"I would have left so you two could talk"

"No it's fine Courtney , don't question me"

"I'm not questioning you! I'm just saying I would have left it's not the big of a deal" I say "we also aren't really dating so it definitely doesn't matter"

"I'm not arguing with you" he says

"No ones arguing , you're acting like I'm making this shit up"

"I'm not sure if you've forgotten but I am still your boss! So please watch how you talk to me"
