Hi there!
I'm sorry it seems like I'm inactive, November, December and January are really hard for students 😭😂! I just had an important anatomy exam , so I was focusing on studying at the moment, but winter holidays are approaching now, and I am definitely going to be productive in my hobby of writing again. ❤️‍🔥
So, I thought to let you know and at least give you something small, like a snack (if you get what I mean 😏), especially after the festive spirit also got to MK1 with the festive skins and icy Sub-Zero season. Partially to also take a small break from studying and enjoy some free time.

Imagine: what would Christmas Eve look like with each of the characters? 🎄❤️‍🔥

- Bi-Han (Sub-Zero/Noob Saibot): ❄️
We were sitting inside of the living room, on the couch in front of the chimney with a Christmas tree in the corner. Outside, it was dark and snowing, snow lying on the ground for a while already. Today, it was our day to spend together, tomorrow, we would celebrate Christmas with the others. Their presents were still lying further underneath the tree, while Bi-Han's and my gift were right at the front to easily hand out our Christmas presents.
We spend some quality time together, cooking our favourite meal together while fooling around a good bit, which is the reason why it's close to midnight by now when we finally finished eating and could open our presents.
"Okay, then, I guess it's my time to open up your present first, right?"
"Yes, go ahead. I hope you like it."
I leaned over to grab a bag that had my name on it, sitting back down on the couch while placing it on my lap. Last time we fibres something to each other, Bi-Han was the first one to open it up, thus it's my turn to be first again.
I grabbed into the bag while looking at him in curiosity, taking out a small, expensive looking case.
"Huh? What's that?"
"Well, open it."
I shook my head in amusement as I carefully opened the case, exposing the Lin Kuei brooch.
"No way! Bi-Han, does that mean..?"
"Yes. Now you can officially interfere with Lin Kuei business."
I immediately went in to hug Bi-Han, holding the brooch tightly in my hand, feeling him hugging me back.

- Kuai Liang (Sub-Zero/Scorpion): 🔥❄️
We just walked through the door after being outside to ice skate together. It was a lot of fun, but as the daytime came to an end, we decided to go home for dinner. Kuai Liang was taking off his jacket and scarf behind me, as he entered after me, while I took my jacket and scarf off in front of the mirror, looking at myself.
"Oh, have a look at that. My nose is always getting so red in the cold!"
"It's cute though."
He took my jacket from me to hang both his and mine on the coatrack.
"But the tip of my nose feels like an icicle now, brr."
I turned to look at him, smiling with my scarf in my hand when turning to look at Kuai Liang, seeing him holding out a present to me.
"But we wanted to open up our gifts tomorrow, with the others?"
"This is an extra that I want you to open now."
I took the case with a small cute ribbon on top he held out to me, looking at him in curiosity. He smiled at me softly before I opened it, exposing a beautiful ring - just the one I wanted.
"(Y/N) (L/N), will you marry me?"
I opened my eyes in shock before playing it down, faking an attitude.
"So my Christmas gift is an engagement that other people get on any other day?"
We shared a laugh before he kissed my forehead. I looked up at him as I spoke up, him already taking the ring out of the box to put it on my finger.
"Yes, I will marry you, Kuai Liang."
"Like I said, this is an extra, your gifts will be opened tomorrow."

- Hanzo Hasashi (Scorpion): 🔥
We were sitting outside in the Fire Gardens, enjoying the snow together in front of the bonfire. Hanzo quickly walked back to our condo to get marshmallows for us to make. I heard his footsteps in the snow while I was resting my eyes.
"Are you sure you wanna keep the jacket open?"
"Yeah, it's really warm right now, the fire keeps me warmer. And if not, you will, right?"
"Of course I will."
He smiled at me, putting his arm around me while sitting down next to me again, leading me to lean in onto him.
"Here."
Hanzo handed a package with marshmallows over to me. I took them while sitting up straight again, noticing the package is open already.
"It's opened already, I don't remember snacking on it last night?"
"Don't mind it, I opened it to eat a few on my way back to you."
"I could have thought as much, mister sweet tooth. But it somehow feels heavier, too.."
I mumbled to myself while reopening the package, seeing something silverish shining through right in the middle. I grabbed into the marshmallows to feel whatever it was, noticing it was a bit longer.
"What's inside of there?"
"Hm?"
Hanzo's eyes rested on me while he held both of our sticks we would use for the marshmallows. I grabbed the item, pulling it out carefully only to expose a brand new kunai, similar to Hanzo's.
"Wait, that's..!"
"Yes, my handcraft. May your blade forever be sharp, like my love for you is."
"Oh my! My gift for you is in our bedroom, I'll have to go get it."
"No, that's not the only gift I have for you, leave the rest for later."
"Hanzo, I'm speechless! Thank you. This is.. so precious."
I inspected the kunai closer, seeing our first initials craved in carefully.
"Just like you are to me."
