Chasing after hours wasted
Lost in the leaves
Enchanted by trees
I dwelled on spring for too long
Mind too foggy for a summer song
Now I try to make up on lost time
By conveying the reason and rhyme
Of this incomprehensible emotion
Watch the red go into motion
Bleeding leaves a potionBecause I'm lost in the clouds
How the sunlight hits the trees
Sure, I can't breathe
But I'm wearing the water
I'm staring into the flame
I'm starting the fire
I'm burning it down
Silent sound, silent night
I'll wake up to a wonderland some day soon
I'll wave to the withering autumn toon
Just keep on going onGrey November, awaiting December
Forevermore's a feeling I'll remember
Evergreen's something I await
I can't wait
To go through it one more time
Every spring and autumn rhyme
I fancy a whimsy, a worthy distraction
A homey sweater, the lack of immediate action
Continuing to rock my chair, and fixate on the flame
It's mundane, it's tame
To the winter growing all around
Synchronized snowflake sound
I'll reach for it, and it'll dissolve
I can remember, yet never resolveAnother year passed
Snowcaps melted
Flowers wilted
Evergreen, forever red
Now all my favorite trees are dead
Iridescent icicles
Sweet magnolias
Summer sunsets, autumn leaves
Golden hour, auburn trees
Candy skies, amber falls
The season has bewitched us all
Leaving my eyes mystified
I had somewhere to run when I needed to cry
