(This is a siren Rf story. Y/n is a cabin boy/girl/whatever you are who works for a cruel Pirate captain. One day while gathering fish with the nets you capture something or someone very special.)

"This sucks." I thought to myself as I mopped the deck. Broken beer bottles and rotten leftover food covered it from the captain and his crews' late night party. Of course I wasn't invited not that I wanted to be near those big bellied pigs and under dressed attention seeking dogs. I was expected to stay locked up in the captain's quarters and decipher a riddle the captain had found on one of their "explorations" in truth he got the riddle from an innkeeper we met in the last town we visited. The captain was sure it will lead us to untold riches.

Much like fish that swim in the sea. At the bottom of the hook is where I will be...

"What the hell does that even mean" I spent hours searching maps to see if I could relate any islands or landmarks to the riddle to come up with absolutely nothing. "Y/N! The captain wants a word with ya." Lawny, one of the female crewmembers, said in a sing song voice. She was just coming out of the captain quarters. I signed "what about cleaning up this mess, you guys made?!". I threw the mop down and marched to the captain's door. I knocked and suddenly heard shuffling and giggles. I rolled my eyes. "Come in!" The captain's raspy and irritating voice came. I opened the door and went up to the captain's desk. The captain sat in his big comfy chair. His black long hair looked greesy and scattered. He only had his white button up on which was unbuttoned and had sweat stains around it's neck and pits. I didn't even want to question if he had pants on or not since the desk blocked that veiw thankfully. One of the crew ladies were on his lap giggling while he said something i couldn't hear to her. She slowly stood up and walked out side eyeing me and giving me a smirk.

"Y/n thank you for coming. I wanted know the progress you have made with the clue I gave you. It's been days and my patience is thin." He said. I looked down fully knowing if my answer wasn't satisfactory I'd be punished again. "I'm sorry captain I haven't made any progress to figuring out what it means. I've checked all the maps looked for any information I could find about the riddles orgins. All I've found out is that others have heard the same riddle and have went looking for this treasure only to never be seen again. I think it would be wise to find someth-" I was cut off by the captain slamming his fist on the desk, making me flinch." I DONT KEEP YOU HERE TO THINK, I KEEP YOU HERE TO OBEY. I DONT CARE WHAT HAPPENED TO OTHERS ALL I CARE ABOUT IS MY TREASURE. WHERE IS IT? THAT'S WHAT I WANT YOU TO FIGURE OUT." He signed and relaxed back into his chair. "I should have left you on the streets to die. Your useless , you know that y/n. You were nothing but a pathetic child when I found you. A worm not even your parents wanted. Now look at you. I give you food, a purpose, a family and a home, and all you can do is continue to disappoint me...." I listened to every word feeling my heart sank. It was true the captain took me in when no one would. Sure I haven't had the best life living with the crew and on the seas but it had to be better than slowly starving to death or begging for food on the streets, right? "Get back to work cleaning the deck and after your done your on fishing duty. The crew and I are going to be searching an island for supplies while you restock. " the captain ordered. I gave a small bow and started to leave.
"And Y/n"
"Yes sir?"
"Keep working on that riddle. I expect an answer in the 2 days if not well...I think we both know what im going to do with you"
I nodded and left quickly. I quickly grabbed the mop and continued cleaning ignoring constant snickers and laughs of the crew that walked past doing their daily chores.

After a while I was done. 3 full sacks of trash piled at the front deck of the ship. I'll probably have to get rid of it when we stop on the island or one of the small cities we come across. "LAND HO!" I heard Richard the watchout say from on top of the mass. The crew members immediately got into position to stop the ship far enough from the land and use the rowboats for the rest of the way. Everyone was gathering supplies and running around preparing. The captain came up to me now surprisingly well dressed in his red coat and his hair slicked back into a curly ponytail. His matching captain's hat on top his head with a white poofy feather sticking out from it. Honastly he looked like the younger version of a childhood fairytale about a pirate with a hooked hand chasing after flying orphans.

Author's note: yep I'm referring to Peter pan. If I do end creating a second part to this I might a merge some other aus in here as well but only the fantasy ones because well this story takes place in the old days when there was no technology and pirates rom the seas. There were kings and queens ruling over kingdoms. Anyways back to the story.

He glared at me. "While we are out, tend to the fishing nets. I think you're at least capable of doing that" He brushed past me talking to his second in command. I rushed to the side of the ship as soon as the crew rowed away in one of the small boats. I was left alone. "Y/n do this! Y/n do that! Y/n you're incapable of doing anything right! SAYS THE BASTARD WHO NEVER GETS OFF HIS LAZY ASS AND SLEEPS AROUND WITH ALMOST EVERY FEMALE MEMBER OF THE CREW! " I screamed while untying the nets and letting them loose in the water. When the crew usually left I used this time to say what I'd never have the guts to say to them to their faces.

"Briggett your nothing but a goldslut! Benny you ugly pig im not nor will I ever be into you, so stop flirting with me! Lawny stfu you bitch I am way smarter and much more attractive than you! Jermey.....you are annoying but you're the only nice person to me besides the minor pranks you pull." I lifted up the first net on the right side inspecting what I caught. A decent amount of fish was caught in the net and I dragged the heavy wet net on board. Multiple fish flopped around splashing water. I immediately started storing fish into the cooling barrel. One of many barrels we keep in the very bottom of the ship as a cooling space. I shivered thinking back to that place. The captain had locked me down there multiple times in the past. Often because of "disobedience". I tied the first net back up to let it try and went on to the next. I repeated this cycle till coming to the 2nd to last net. I started to pull on the next but to my surprise it didn't budge, in fact it pulled back. "What the hell did I catch!?" I thought as I planted my feet firmly and started pulling. The thing was definitely stronger than me because at that moment the net went slack for a sec until it ultimately pulled so hard it pulled me along with it.

I felt my body hit the water and freezing water immediately enter my open mouth. I struggled to get to the surface but was caught by the foot of the net. I thrashed around but to no avail. I felt my lungs fill with water and my vision began to go blurring. Right before I passed out I felt something wrap around my waist.
