Chapter 1: Reunion

*Back in the present*

Gohan: Huh, I wonder how Izuku is doing. It's been ages since I last saw him.

Goten: "Who are you talking about, bro?" The younger brother of Gohan asks out of curiosity.

Gohan: "Just thinking about an old friend squirt." (ruffling Gotens hair) "Hey, wants to grab some fish for mom to cook?"

Goten: "Yeah, I'm always down for moms cooking." [Laughing] As the both of them get fish for dinner.

In the past few months, Chichi broke the news of her decision to send Gohan to UA high. At first, Gohan couldn't believe it. Knowing his mother has been against him being a fighter and engaging in battles since he was a child and still wanted him to be a scholar. She explained to him that she still wanted him to study. She also knew Gohan wanted to follow his own path of being the protector of earth in his father's place. Even if she denies it, she knew that deep inside of him, he wanted to carry his father's legacy. A mother will always know. Chi-chi knows that UA will help him to become the greatest hero in history and, of course, take care of his education.

However, the reason why she revealed the news a year earlier is because, since he's been home-schooled for his whole life, she feared that he may lack the social skills of communicating with his peers. So, she decided to prepare him by enrolling him this year in a high school where he would make contact and become friends with teenagers of his age.

After considering things, the demi-Saiyan agreed and decided to enroll in the school by passing the exams in early March. So today, he headed in the direction of Aldera Junior High, ready to pass the exams.

When he almost reached the school, he ordered Nimbus - his magical cloud - to land in a close alley as fast as possible so no one could see them. After doing so, he patted it as if it were his pet dog and instructed it.

Gohan: "Okay, Nimbus. You know the rule. You gotta go as fast as you can so no one can see you, and don't come unless I call for you. I'll see you after the exams. See you later, Nimbus." (He waved goodbye to the flying cloud)

The cloud obeyed its owner's orders and flew away at a speed that exceeds that of sound, leaving Gohan alone. The Half-Saiyan walked then 'till he reached the school's gate. There, a short man with blue skin and dressed properly was waiting for him. You could easily tell from his appearance that he was the principal of Aldera.

??: "Ah, you must be Son Gohan! "He addresses with a smile and extended a hand in greeting. "You're just on time. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Mr. Yoshida, the principal of Aldera Junior High."

Gohan: "Thanks. Nice to meet you, too, sir." (shaking his hand) "Sorry for making you come on Sunday. You know, since it's the first day of spring break."

Principal Yoshida: Oh, it's not a problem at all, my boy, I needed to come anyway to finish some paperwork I had leftover. Even if I didn't come, you would've found other teachers here at the school anyway. However, I must say, you're the first home-schooled pupil we've ever received.

Gohan: Oh, is that so? Well, I might have never entered a real school before, but I promise you, I'll ace these tests.

Principal Yoshida: That's not what I was trying to say, but that's good to hear. Now, if you would follow me.

The two then entered the educational institution towards a room that was filled with teachers of multiple subjects: from math to Quirks' origins and history in general.

The Saiyan smiled and prepared himself.

Gohan: *I'll pass the exams.*

An hour later.
