Amy and Silver are currently walking around Soleanna, hoping to find Sonic in the town.
Amy: [Looking around] I can't believe we haven't located Sonic yet. Gee, I wonder where he went.
Silver eventually stops in his tracks when he sees Sonic walking into the area with Elise by his side. He hovers in the air and shoots a Telekinetic beam at the blue hedgehog, of which he picks Elise up and jumps out of harms way.
Silver: [Lowers down] I've been looking for you. You're the Iblis Trigger. You're actions will condemn us all.
Sonic: [Confused; shields Elise] Who are you?
Silver: My name is Silver. [Prepares to fight] For the future of the world, I will destroy you!
Silver was crouched down to the ground, obviously feeling the effects of Sonic's speed attacks. The blue hedgehog slowly makes his way towards the white hedgehog, trying to see if he's alright.
Sonic: Hey.
Silver was playing dead and obviously snaked Sonic in, pushing him back with his Telekinesis. He hits a column of the building and drops to his knees.
Silver: [Scoffs] Hmph! Is this a joke? How could someone like you cause the destruction of our world?
Unknown to them, Eggman's Egg Mobile appears behind Elise, preparing to grab onto her as the confrontation happens.
Sonic: [Confused] What do you... mean?
Silver: It doesn't matter. For the sake of the future, the Iblis Trigger must be destroyed!
Silver was about to end Sonic's life, but Elise's scream was heard, stopping the hedgehog.
Sonic: Elise!? Wait!
Sonic prepares to pursue, but Silver knocks him back down.
Silver: Don't you dare turn your back on me! It's time I finally put an end to this!
???: [Cocks cannon] I wouldn't if I were you...
Silver turns to the voice and attempts to swipe at him with his Telekinesis, but the person spin dashes away and comes back, only to hit Silver in the back.
Silver: [Growls] Who...?
He looks at the new opponent and sees the appearance of a white hedgehog with green highlights. It was Aeon, with his cannon armed and ready.

Silver: Who are you?
Aeon: The name's Aeon The Hedgehog, and I gotta say, you're not what I expected out of my faker. [Turns to Sonic; curious] You alright, hedgehog?
Sonic: [Looks up; in disbelief] A-Aeon?
Aeon: Don't look too surprised to see me. I said I'd help you rescue the Princess, so that's what I'll do.
Silver: [Prepares to fight] Neither of you will be going anywhere.
Amy: Stop!
Amy steps in between Silver and Sonic, protecting her long time crush and friend.
Silver: Amy? Get out of my way, Amy! This is my mission!
Amy: [Shakes head viciously] Absolutely not! [Silver groans]
Sonic: [Slowly gets up; staggers a bit] Thanks, Amy. I appreciate it. [Runs off]
Amy: Leave it to me. [Turns to Aeon; slightly angered] I have no idea what you're doing, but if you're helping Sonic, then you should go.
Aeon: [Nods] I'm way ahead of you, Rose. [Runs after Sonic]
Amy stays in her position and stands her ground, obviously angry and looking for an explanation for the current events.
Amy: The person you were looking for was Sonic? [Anger turns to confusion] Were you planning to kill him?
Silver: [Trying to reason with her] He's responsible for destroying my world.
Amy: [Shocked] That's crazy! Sonic would never do that!
Silver: But it's true! In the near future, his actions will cause the devastation of my world. So, I must...
Amy: No! I don't believe it. [Regains composure; places hand over heart] Even if that was true, if I had to choose between the world and Sonic, I would choose Sonic!
Amy runs off, now completely mad that she trusted Silver, only for him to try and kill the person she cares about more than anything else. The white hedgehog now sits at the boardwalk of Soleanna, conflicted about the very reason why he and Blaze were sent to this part of time from their future in the first place. Blaze eventually arrives and finds him, almost seeing the confused look in his eyes.
Blaze: So this is where you are. I've been looking for you. [No response; steps forward] What's wrong?
Silver: Well, uh, Blaze... To kill someone to save the world... Is that really the right thing to do?
Blaze: [Looks at the sky] You're so naive. Whether it's right or wrong, I can't really say... But what I do know is, [Crosses arms] if we don't take this chance, the future will remain exactly as it is.
Silver: [Stands up; gets an idea] Since he's after Dr. Eggman, let's sneak into Eggman's base. Maybe we'll learn something new.
Silver and Blaze make it to the center of the base, but no one else was there.
Silver: Looks like we've arrived a little too late.
The ground begins to shake, and something appears in front of the two.
Silver: What? Oh no!
Silver gets finished with Egg-Genesis, but something falls from it. It was the blue Chaos Emerald, and Silver looked at it, almost feeling tremendous power from it.
Blaze: That's a Chaos Emerald. It's said this gem can transform your thoughts into power. Collect seven, and a miracle's supposed to happen. Keep it as a lucky charm. [Walks away]
Silver: [Looks at Emerald; replays Blaze's words] It transforms your thoughts into power...
