Briana POV

i finally caught my mother's eye as she waved at me and my little brother to hurry up and come to her car. i carefully looked both ways before grabbing my little brothers hand and crossing the street to get to our mothers car, we put all our things in the trunk 

"awww come here you two. its been forever since ive seen you, you guys are so big now" my mother said while tearing up

"we missed you too mommy" my little brother said softly

"more than you can imagine" i exclaimed

i sat in shotgun while my little brother was in the backseat asking my mother all these random quesitons while i couldn't get the boy from the airport out of my mind. i began to daydream while staring out the window. a black range rover suddenly pulled up next to us at the stoplight. Tez was right.there. he pointed to his phone signaling that he wanted me to text him.

CONVO-B:BRIANA

T:TEZ

B: hey there range rover :)

T: hey there Cadillac  ;) i cant believe you actually texted me lol

B: and why cant you believe that

T: because in the airport it seemed like you were annoyed :/

B: LMAO no !!! i was just in a hurry to find my moms car so we could get out of the crowded airport. you seemed nervous

T: i mean i think every boy gets nervous while talking to a pretty girl :)

B: hehehehehe. hey ill ttyl range rover my mom wants to take me and my little brother out for dinner so she can get to know us better and find out whats been going on

T: have fun cadillac

TEZ POV:

as i put my phone away smiling nash and hayes gave me a look. 

"why so smiley braceface?" hayes sarcastically asked

"a homie cant be happy" i retort back with a smirk

"mhm" hayes replied back with a smug grin

shes so freaking pretty omg i gotta take her out one day. but first i gotta get to know her better i thought to myself

Bri POV:

"where do you guys wanna go for dinner" my mom asked

"JOES CRAB SHACK" my little brother and i yelled

(A/N- JOE'S CRAB SHACK IS SO FREAKING GOOD OMG. IF YOU HAVEN'T TASTED YOU NEED TO K BYE)

My mother slowly pulled into a parking space at joe's crab shack my little brother couldn't wait to get out of the car. i hopped out the car phone in hand and i unlocked my phone only to see a text from my ex dylan saying he missed me. i quickly replied with a "ok" to be honest i didn't miss him he was the absolute worst and i think no no no scratch that i KNOW i can and will do better. 

we walked into joes crab shack and got seated immediately mainly because there was only three of us. i decided to order a steam pot and share it with my little brother because i knew i wasn't gonna be able to finish it on my own and i knew he wouldn't be eating that much anyway

"so how are you doing in school" my mom asked

" i think im doing pretty well i have a 3.8 GPA" 

"impressive" she replied with a smile

i never knew how much i actually looked like her until she smiled

"and you mister, hows school going for you i hear your going to first grade" she smiled at my brother

"yeah mommy, the teacher says im gonna be in the bestest classes wif the bestest kids" he said ever so proudly 

i smiled at my little brothers enthusiasm. i had the sudden urge to pee and when i got to the bathroom i mentally cursed joe's crab shack for having unisex bathrooms as i waited for the person before me to finish i took a glance over at my mom and my little brother. i could actually see the change in her, i could see the love in her eyes, im honestly so glad she changed for the better. when the boy who was in the bathroom came out i looked up and to my surprise it was the person who had me smiling at my phone ever since i met him earlier today. Tez.

"we run into each other way too often. dontcha think ?" he asked with a sly smirk

i couldn't help but laugh he was so corny "i mean if you wanna call this a run in you can but i can't help but think that your somewhat stalking me" i replied 

he started to smile "ill text you later Cadillac"

"see ya range rover" i went into the bathroom after saying that

 i walked back over to the table and my mom gave me a weird look. something in the back of my mind told me it had something to do with me & tez's short acquaintance.

"soo bribaby who was the boy ?" my mom asked slyly

"my friend, i met him in the airport a couple of minutes before i spotted you"

"oh well he's cute"

"MOM" i scolded her i mean she wasn't wrong so why was i complaining 

"alright my little chitlens lets get home, colins falling asleep in the restaurant" my mom picked up colin's tiny little body as he wrapped his arms around her neck. before we left i made sure i didn't forget anything in the place and my mom got Colin comfortable in the backseat as i texted Tez

B- heyyyyyyyyyy :)

T- look who stopped by 😂👀

B- shhhh wyd 😛

T- nothanggg just being tez, thinking of new ways to annoy hayes

B- Hayes ? as in like Hayes Grier 😳😳😳😳 ?

T- yeah hes family, love the kid. wyd

B- thats sweet😍 and im in the car, moms driving us home

T- we should go out tomorrow, your new and itd be fun to show you around town

B- i think that'd be fun. ill give you the details tomorrow :) ill txt you tmm its late and im slowly falling asleep nighhhhtttt💛🌙

i set my phone down and began to drift asleep.

-30 minutes later-

"bri wake up" my mom shook me up to tell me we were home, i checked my phone and the time read 11:15pm, oh gosh it was late i grabbed all my suitcases as my mom lead my to my room. i figured i would arrange things to how i liked it tomorrow when i had energy to do so, i might even ask tex to help me. As soon as i saw my bed i plopped down into it and drifted into a peaceful sleep.
