Midnight heard the sounds of magic being used above. She looked up to see something like hoverbikes fighting against one of those giant jar monsters and Idia....She watched the fight happen while trying to figure out who was there. Alba was still by her side, slowly making her magic flow with Midnight's natural flow of magic as she tries to heal herself. Watching and listening to the sounds of the battle with a dazed look on her face. She watched and wondered about why this was happening to her. Was it because something was special about her? Was she just unlucky to be in these situations? Or was it because she had a purpose to fulfill? She shook her head as she closed her eyes. This was too much to think about right now. Maybe this was finally the side-effect of using that burst of magic during her mom's overblot. She let out a pained sigh as she pondered why it took so long to get the side-effects of using it. Maybe it was already happening beforehand. She was having trouble hearing the sounds of the blot dropping and keeping the spirits out for as long as she normally had them out for. She heard the sounds of the walls of Tartarus being hit or damaged. She looked up only to see the shadowly figures of the jar monster and Idia falling towards the open gate. She saw the purple clothing of Pomefiore joining them as they fell. She stayed against the wall as she watched them fall into the gate. Slumping down the wall as she felt sleep trying to take her over. Alba stayed focused on keeping her magic flowing into Midnight. She only heard the sound of Grim yelling moments before she fell asleep.

Midnight woke up in the dim hallways of S.T.Y.X building. She looked around for a moment before sitting up. She looked around for a moment before noticing Idia's glowing blue hair. She used the wall as support as she walked towards him. He was looking at a door with sadness in his eyes. "Idia-san?" He suddenly looked over towards her. "Player 2?!" He said in shock before walking over to her and holding her. "Guess the SSS troublemakers weren't lying about you appearing in the talkings of their past." Midnight let out a small laugh as they made their way back to the door. "Guess it's time to share the memories of my past." Midnight looked up at him before Idia let out a sigh. "My life has been set in stone even before I was born. "The Island of Woe's Gatekeeper." That was the path laid out for me.All those born in the Shroud Family have been cursed to burn blot away...Our unique magic allows us to open and close the Gate to the Underworld." Midnight heard two voices start to come in from behind them. She turned her head around to face those voices. Two researchers had their backs to them as they faced the door of the opposite room. "Master Idia shows exceptional talent for academics as well as for magic. Experts have vouched for his skills in magical engineering. He is a born genius, indeed." The second researcher nodded. "Yes, S.T.Y.X's future is in good hands." The room door opened before they both walked in with the door closing behind them, but not before two horns and a demon tail appeared on them. Idia let out a sigh as he still stared at the door infront of him. "It's a question adults ask most children. "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Just once is enough. Someone please ask me what I want, too."
The door opened as Mika noticed there was a young Idia and Ortho sitting ontop of some pillows as they were focused on watching the TV. Game controllers are in Idia's hands. They both said "Blast through the distance like the shooting star you are!" Young Ortho held his hands up in happiness. "You can do it, Big Brother! The Chronos Force is no match for you!" Young Idia laughed as he turned his body as he focused on the TV. "Yay! That's a perfect record! Take that, hard mode!" Laughter came from the young Ortho as he leaned forwards towards his brother as he watched him play the game. "Way to go, Big Brother! Hah, bow before him, Chronos Force!" Young Idia laughs as he watches the screen and looks at Ortho out of the side of his eyes. "Hah... I want to go on an adventure like the hero in Star Rogue, too..." Young Ortho raised his hand up as he said "Me, too! I wanna go on an adventure with you! We'll defeat evil and become heroes!" Young Idia paused the game as he looked over at the screen in sadness. "Heroes, huh... You have a good shot, but I don't think I'm cut out for it..." Young Ortho had a sad look on his face as he looked at Idia, "Why not? I wanna be heroes together." The young Idia shook his head. "I have to inherit the lab when I grow up, so I can't..." There was a pause before the young Ortho said "How about before you grow up?" Young Idia looked over at him, "Before I become a real adult, you mean...?" There was a nod from the young Ortho. "Yeah! We can go on a journey before you're all grown up, right?" The young Idia set his controller down as he placed a hand on his chin. "Yeah...! I think we can make that work. If I disable the security system, we can leave the island through Okeanos Hall...After that, we can...Let's go on an adventure." Both boys raised their hands in joy as they both sat up. "Yeah! I wanna go!" said the young Ortho as the young Idia grabbed his hands. "Alright! Let Big Brother handle this!"
