Midnight woke up rubbing her eyes. She looked at her left arm. The bracelet was there so she looked around the room. Jafar was talking to the Queen of Hearts. "Guys. The cub is awake." Ursula was looking out the window. "The land is beautiful." Midnight chuckled. She got out of bed and said "Shoo! I am going to change!" Queen of Hearts kicked out Jafar and Scar. They got the door slammed on them. Ursula said "What should you wear today?" Ursula lifted Midnight up with her tentacles. The Queen of Hearts was going through her closest. "Hmmm. All of these clothes don't match today." Ursula said "You can make things right?" Queen of Hearts nods and lifts her staff. WHOOSH WIRL Midnight has a long sleeve shirt with coral coming up from the bottom and it goes across the sleeves. Her pants were covered in roses and rose vines. She had gloves on with a sun on the center. She had a small parrot clip just under her moon and start clip. "She matches us all now!" "Yeah. The clothes are soft and light so that is good for a child." "Hey, are you guys done? We are hungry!!" Midnight laughs and says "We are coming out!" They all walk to the cafeteria. Midnight is looking in the fireplace for Spark. "Spark? You there?" Spark flew out and touched her nose. "Are you okay, child?" Midnight nodded and said "Yeah I am. Also do you know why I saw some fairies flying around? I saw them as I walked here with the others." Spark looked behind her and saw the spirits arguing about the food. Queen of Hearts was getting healthy food, Scar was getting mostly meat with help from Ursula, Ursula was getting fish, and Jafar was looking at the food and was holding no plate. Midnight said "You can see them? I mean it makes sense that a spirit/fairy can see them I think." Spark said "You are a child of mystery. I have never seen anything like this before." Midnight got up and Spark was sitting on her nose. She grabbed a egg tart, some bacon, a orange, and apple juice. She sat at a table with the spirits. Nobody was there so they could eat in peace. Jafar was watching them eat and talk while feeding his parrot. Spark was taking tiny nibbles from her egg tart because she heated everything up and she didn't want to ruin the bacon. Midnight was eating the bacon while the others talked about random things. Midnight asked "Spark. Is anything happening that the fairies are apart of?" Spark didn't eat anything for a moment and said "The fairy gala. It is where fairies of many types, sizes, and species come to show off their fashion for the fashion type it needs to be. This year is windswept. You could come in and help or to show off you fashion. You are part fae right? That means you would be welcomed." Midnight smiled and said "Yay! I am going to ask momma for help! He is very good with fashion and maybe Mister Crewel could help too. I heard them talk about fashion before." Queen of Hearts said "That would be good for you, Rose." Scar said "I mean you can meet more of your species. It could also help you understand your ummm fae based powers." Jafar nodded. Ursula said "I would want to meet more of my kind. It would be nice to see others of my species. It would also help me not feel alone anymore." Midnight said "Alright! We will go there first because I have no clue on what Windswept is and it could help me figure that out as well!"

Midnight looked around in awe. She wanted to touch the hanging lights and fabric but she just kept looking around. "Child fae what are you doing here?" Midnight looked up and said "I heard from my friend that this was happening and I wanted to meet other faes!" The small water fairy looked at her. "Well the gala is going to be happening in a few days." Midnight smiled and said "Yay! Ummm is there anything you guys need help with?" The water fairy looks at her. "I just feel like I need to help. It is kinda something I like to do." The water fairy gently pats her nose causing her to sneeze. The water fairy giggles and says "Well we do need a gem for our queen's crown. Do you know where to get one?" Midnight thinks for a bit. There is the mine she heard that two of the students had to go to. She pushes that thought back because they came back badly hurt. Queen of Hearts says "There was that gem in the Mirror Chamber. I wonder if that would work but it seems important." Scar says "Yeah. That caught my eye earlier. Just borrow it. I don't think this would take long." Midnight nods and says "There is that gem in the Mirror Chamber. If the gala is not going to last very long we can take it." The water fairy says "Oh don't worry. This gala only lasts few days so it won't be very long. Most of the days are decorating. So the real gala is one day." Midnight says "Well I can't really reach it as I am too short. If you other fairies could get it that would be nice. I can show you the way!" The water fairy nods and leaves to get other fairies. The other fairy come over and Midnight is showing them the way to the Mirror Chamber. She is skipping while doing it. The spirits are chuckling while Jafar is looking around. "Advisor. Why are you doing this?" Midnight says "Why not? I have more things to gain then lose. I'd like to know just a tad bit more about my kind so this was the perfect chance to do this!" The fairies look at her and behind her. They see a very transparent version of the spirits.

Midnight points to the gem that is near the very top of the Mirror Chamber. "There it is. I don't know if it can be taken off though. Please be careful tho!" The fairies smile and pat her nose. She smiles and they fly up to the gem. She watches them as they take the gem off. It pops right out and starts to fall to the ground. Midnight uses her lighting-ice speed to catch it. "Oh god my heart stopped when it fell.........My arm is probably red after I turn it around." Midnight gets up and hands it to the fairies. They all hold onto it tightly. Midnight flips her arms and sees some small scratches and redness. She just shrugs and keeps walking. She watches as the fairies leave the gem hidden behind some bushes before flying over to her. "Thank you child fae. This was a big part of the gala! Here." Midnight holds out her hand and a invite starts to appear. She smiles and thanks the fairies. She leaves for home skipping because the fairies were going to sleep and start again in the morning. Midnight sees Vil drinking some tea at the kitchen table. "Momma! I got a invite to the fairy gala!!!" Midnight runs over to Vil and holds the invite over her head. Vil sets his tea down and looks at the invite. "Oh? Do you need an outfit?" Midnight nods. Vil smiles and pats her head. Midnight's tail wags as Vil says "Well it is late now. Get off to bed. I will start to work on your outfit after I get your measurements." Midnight smiles and runs off to her room. She gets changed after Jafar and Scar are forced out again. Midnight laid in bed with a smile on her face. "I can't wait for the gala!!!" Queen of Hearts says "I need to work on a clip for you. Ursula!" "Yeah I have the pearls and some gold. Your mother has the outfit but we have the accsesories!" Scar said "Yeah. I could help you with something. Jafar can you teach them to dance or something? I heard that the desert has a lot of dancers." Jafar said with a scowl "I will have one of the dancers teach her. Also maybe the people from Scarabia could teach her. I belive they are also based off of me." Midnight said "Yeah! I heard Kalim say Jamil is a good dancer!" Midnight yawns and Ursula says "Pearl go to sleep. You need your rest or else you won't be able to do anything." Midnight gives a small nod and lays down in bed. She closes her eyes.
