Namjoon remembered the night he first interacted with Seokjin back in Persona. He was so excited to speak with the beauty who stole his heart during his first impression on him.

But tonight, he was nervous. He was nervous about meeting the same person in the room they'd spend their wedding night in.

The whole morning was spent in celebrating their marriage day, the afternoon in a picnic on the other side of the valley near the beautiful waterfall, and the evening exploring the Forest of Home. As the sun set, Hoseok and Jimin whisked Seokjin away to get him ready for the wedding night, leaving Namjoon with the other men to prepare as well.

While the other men cleaned after the ceremony day and tidied up the backyard, Namjoon headed to the bridal chamber alone, dressed simply in a white night robe with a slit down his chest, his wet golden hair splayed down his broad shoulders in strings to dry.

With every step he felt his heart beat loudly. He didn't know how they'd spend their last night before the parting. Would they just talk and fall asleep together... Or make love?

If it was the latter, Namjoon wasn't ready. It was an act which occured with a very deep bond between lovers, a lot of affection and trust. The prince had both of them for Seokjin, but still, he knew this very intimate moment wouldn't leave him with the heart to leave his groom behind the very next morning. And he had to leave tomorrow.

So, even if Seokjin wanted it to happen tonight, Namjoon was going to tell him that they couldn't, and make up for it any way he could. And when they reunited, the prince would make love to his dearest with all of his heart open to him, and not leave an ounce of his feelings for him concealed.

With that in mind, Namjoon entered the bridal chamber, and his arms were immediately full with a certain sweet human, his chest being wet with a few droplets of tears.

"I will miss you so much," Seokjin croaked as he looked up with tear filled eyes, tiny sniffles escaping him. "Please be safe."

"I will be safe, I promise, my love," Namjoon assured him as he stroked his face, wiping away the tear streaks down his cheeks. "Please don't cry anymore. Please. I can't see you in pain. I will miss you, but there's no way out of this. Just a little, sweets. Wait for me a little. We'll finally happy after that. I promise!"

Seokjin merely hiccupped, sulking as he took Namjoon's large hand and slipped a ring on his middle finger, the one beside the finger that held the proof that he was married to his love for life.

Startled, Namjoon stared at the ring with two expensive black stones shaped like trapezoids side by side, so much like the one he gifted to Seokjin during their engagement.

"I-I got it for you with Jimin... The day we went to the town secretly without your permission," Seokjin confessed, red eyes boring into Namjoon's calmly. "Wear it for me and remember me, my husband. I'll wait to the end of the world for you. Return home safely to me, my prince."

Seokjin whispered the last sentence sweetly, voice husky and sensual almost, wet eyes fluttering close as he kissed Namjoon's jaw, pressing his lips against it affectionately.

"I promise, my angel," Namjoon swore, desperately pulling his love up against his chest, hands cupping his hips as he kissed his forehead.

His eyes trailed down Seokjin's luscious figure, wrapped delicately in a soft pink robe, simple but sharpening the curves and contours it hid underneath.
