Broadchruch and Doctor Who Crossover

Alec Hardy's head was spinning as he found himself in a completely unfamiliar situation. One moment he was in the courtroom, the tension palpable as the murder trial of Danny Latimer unfolded, and the next, he was in a cozy bedroom with a young woman he didn't recognize. He couldn't comprehend how this had happened.

The woman, Clara Oswald, stirred beside him, her features illuminated by the soft morning light filtering through the curtains. Alec's gaze fell upon her delicate features, her button nose, and those captivating caramel brown eyes. He was at a loss for words, still trying to make sense of the surreal shift from a courtroom to this intimate setting.

Clara, now awake, noticed Alec's distress and concern etched on his face. "Oi, what's with the noise, love? Are you okay, Alec? Is it your heart?" She asked, her voice filled with genuine worry as she placed a hand on his chest.

Alec stammered, his mind racing to catch up with the unexpected reality. "I... I'm fine, I think," he managed to say, his eyes still fixed on Clara. It was slowly dawning on him that he was supposed to be her husband in this bewildering world.

Clara let out a relieved sigh, her concern giving way to affection. Without further hesitation, she leaned in and kissed Alec passionately. Alec's emotions were in turmoil, but he found himself kissing her back, unable to resist the magnetic pull of the moment. Their lips met in an intense and fervent embrace.

Just as things were escalating between them, a cry from the baby monitor interrupted their heated exchange. Clara pulled back with a playful smirk. "Well, that's probably Elise. It's your turn, husband of mine," she said, her tone teasing, as she retreated back under the covers.

Alec was still overwhelmed, but he nodded, feeling a strange sense of responsibility for this new life he was apparently a part of. He made his way to the nursery, his mind racing with questions and uncertainties, yet strangely drawn to the notion of being Clara's husband.

As he tended to the baby, his thoughts swirled with the mysteries of this alternate reality, where he was Alec Hardy, but not the one he knew. The lines between his old life and this new one blurred, and he couldn't help but wonder how he had ended up in this bizarre and unexpected situation.

In the nursery, Alec found himself face to face with a crying baby girl, Elise. He hesitated for a moment, unsure of his parenting skills in this unfamiliar world. Nevertheless, he gently picked up the baby and cradled her in his arms, trying to soothe her with a gentle rocking motion.

Elise's cries slowly subsided as she looked up at Alec with her innocent eyes, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of affection and protectiveness. It was as if a natural instinct had awakened within him, despite the confusion of the situation.

Back in the bedroom, Clara watched Alec through the baby monitor, a contented smile on her face. She trusted him implicitly, unaware of the turmoil in Alec's mind. She had no reason to doubt that he was the loving husband she had known.

Alec returned to the bedroom with Elise in his arms, his heart still racing from the passionate encounter moments ago. He approached Clara, who was now sitting up in bed, her expression filled with warmth and adoration. She reached out to take Elise from him, and the baby seemed to settle comfortably in her mother's embrace.

Clara gazed at Alec with a mixture of love and desire. "You're such a good father," she said softly, planting a tender kiss on his lips. Alec, though still overwhelmed by this strange reality, couldn't deny the genuine connection he felt with Clara and Elise.
