The Doctor and Buffy exchanged amused glances as they watched the young boy, Five, engage in a playful chase with the giggling toddler, Enola. Five's wild hair and Enola's wide-eyed curiosity were a sight to behold against the backdrop of their formal surroundings.

The Doctor and Buffy rushed forward, concern etched on their faces. "Are you two alright?" Buffy asked.

Five grinned cheekily, water dripping from his hair. "Just a minor mishap. I've had worse."

Enola pointed at the fountain with a laugh. "Water!"

Buffy couldn't help but smile at their antics, her heart melting at the sight of her future children. "Looks like you two know how to have fun."

As they dried Five off and wrung out Enola's wet clothes, the Doctor and Buffy found themselves forming an unexpected connection with the children. The barriers of time and circumstance seemed to dissolve as they shared stories and laughter.
