The Stolen Heart

Erica's pov:

  Yesterday sir John told us that he wants to introduce someone to us today. I wonder who can it be. I was thinking all morning about this and I thought about both the good and the bad.

  I was the first to arrive at the office and after some minutes the other girls arrived as well. We were sitting at our desks when the secretary told us that the Boss is waiting for us in his office. We quickly went to his office and entered.

  There we saw him with another two pretty girls but just one caught my attention. That girl has pretty hazel eyes and long slim hair. I liked how her body shape was showing through her tight clothes.

  Boss asked us to sit and we did and he started explaining to us:

  "Hi girls. First of all I want to introduce you this two girls. This is Anna Irelan." He said while pointing at the girl next to him.

  "Hi, I'm Anna and I hope we will get along!" she stand up and said. Me and my friends greeted her and after that sir John started saying that Anna is a good detective and she solves problems very quick. After that he points at the other girl next to him:

  "This is Cadence Andersen. She is a very good shooter and a fast runner."
"Interesting" I thought to myself.

  "Hi, I'm Cadence and I hope we can be friends." She said while standing up.

  "Right, I didn't tell you the reason why the girls are here. They are going to join your team because you need more people in it." The boss said and then he let us leave to go in our office to talk more with the girls.

  We arrived at our office and we started to introduce ourselves as well.

  "Hi, nice to meet you girls. I'm Nadia Mahli and I am 31 years old. This is Melissa Rivera, my best friend and our best police woman in combat."

  "Hi, I'm Melissa. Nice to meet you guys. I hope we can get along." Melissa said and smiled at Anna making her blush. I could smell that something was fishy between them already.

  "And last but not least, my best friend and also our police captain, Erica Walsh..."

   Cadence's pov from yesterday:

  It was a perfect day to hang out so I was with my best friend Anna in a library. Anna was looking for a book and I was following her but then I saw a magazine. I opened it and then I saw her: "The very handsome and famous police captain, Erica Walsh." I don't really understand what people see in her. I was reading the magazine but then I heard Anna calling me so I went to her.

  "How's this?" Anna asked me pointing at a book.

  "It's nice." I said.

  "Okay, I'm gonna buy it but what's wrong with you? You didn't find something interesting for you?"

  "Nope. I found just a dumb magazine."

  "It was again about Erica Walsh?"

  "Yep. I still don't understand why people like her that much."

  Anna heard me and looked at me raising a eyebrow. "Let's apply for the job as a police woman to find out why everybody likes her!"

  I looked at her and asked if she's crazy. We laughed and then she said that she is serious about this. I was a bit unsure because of what we do, we might look cute but we really are bad people.

  It was a small silence before I spoke up and said:

  "You know what? Let's do this. Like, we can get the job easily, thanks to our skills."

  We arrived at the police station and applied for the job. We talked with the people from there and they said that they let us work there. They had called the big captain, Mr. John.

  We've talked with Mr. John and he accepted us and told us that tomorrow he'll introduce us to the rest of the team.

  The next day we introduced ourselves to each other. Nadia and Melissa introduced their self to us and then Nadia says:

  "And last but not least, my best friend and also our police captain, Erica Walsh." Nadia said and then we saw a person approaching us from the far desk.

  "Hi girls. I'm your captain, Erica and I'm 33 years old. I hope we will make a good team." The captain said and I was left without words because she was damn handsome.

  We said hello and bowed to them in respect and after that I saw Erica staring at me. In that moment I was so lost in her beautiful eyes. I now understand why there are a lot of people liking her.

  I cleared my throat and then I asked where should we work. Erica led us to our desks and started informing us about the current case that they are working on.

   Erica pov:

  I was glad that Cadence was almost the same age as me because it's something about her that's making me interested in her.

  This was the second part! A little longer this time. In this chapter we find out that the team is getting bigger and we see that something is going between Erica and Cadence.
