The Stolen Heart

[ 3 ]

    Erica's pov:

  Today I came early at work because I wanted to know more about the new girls. They've got accepted too fast so I want to know what are they capable of. When I came at work my best friends were shocked to see me here this early.

  "Hi Erica!" both of them said. I smiled at them and said hello.

  "Wait, why are you here so early? You always come late." Melissa asked me.

  "Uh, I just woke up in a good mood so I thought it will be nice of me to come more early than usual." I said and Melissa just nodded because she didn't believe me.

   Cadence's pov:

  I arrived at the office with my best friend Anna and we see that the other girls were already there. 

  "Hi everyone!" We said and they greeted us back.

  We sat at our desks and after some minutes Erica came to us and said:

  "Hi girls. Today I want to test you to see your abilities if that's okay with you."

  "Sure!" we said and then left to the training room.

   Erica's pov:

  I showed them the way to the training room. We arrived at the training place and first I wanted to see them running so I told them to run at the same time to see who's faster. They smirked at eachother in adrenaline. I gave them the start and they started running. Both of them were pretty fast but Cadence was a little faster than Anna. Cadence was almost at the finish line when she suddenly fell on the ground. I rushed to her and asked:

  "Hey, are you okay?" I asked and the concern was showing on my face.

  "Yeah, I'm fine, sorry captain." she said and then she got up and couldn't walk properly because she hurt her leg so I had to help her. I bent over so she could get on my back and she said:

  "Uh, I don't think It's really necessary. I don't want your back to hurt."

  "Stop talking nonsense and get on my back." I said and she got on my back. I took her to the nurse cabinet. The nurse took a look at her leg and said that she sprained her ankle. The nurse bandaged Cadence's ankle and after that we returned to the training room. 

  "We can do this another day Cadence if you're not well." I told her.

  "No. It's okay, I can do it." She said.

  "Are you sure?" I asked her and she looked at me and nodded.

  I only wanted them to do things which do no require movement so that Cadence can execute them as well.

  I asked them to analyze a case with old clues and tell me what to do with them. Both of them had awesome ideas but the only correct one was Anna. I noticed that Anna is a good detective and that makes me glad. 

  After that I lead them to the shooting area because I wanted to know if they are good with the aim. 

  First was Anna and she was very bad in shooting. We laughed about this a lot and after Anna was Cadence's turn to shoot. Cadence left me speechless because she hit all the mannequins right in the head. Then I noticed that she is very good in shooting and also her movement is quick.

  "Woah Cadence..You're really good in shooting."

  "Thanks." she said blushing.

  "But..How??" I asked her and she just raised her shoulders and said that she doesn't know.

  After many tests we returned to our office and all that time I helped Cadence walk. 

  After some hours they've got alerted that a person called the police. They had to leave and Cadence was wanting to go with them too to learn because she is new. But she got stopped by Erica because she doesn't allow Cadence because of her injured leg. Cadence was trying to convince Erica that she is better now but Erica told her to stay here this time and promised her that the next time she will take her in a mission. 

  They left for the mission and she was left in the office alone. 

  It was late and just Erica returned to the office because the other girls went home. She came in the office and saw that Cadence was still there because she saw that her computer was on. She approached Cadence's desk and saw her sleeping peacefully. "Cute." she thought in her mind. She sat on the chair next to her and looked at her sleeping. Erica gave Cadence's hair from her face with her hand and put it behind her ear. She starred a little bit longer and then returned at her desk. She was supposed to go home but she stayed at the office with Cadence to let her rest for a bit. 

  After 30 min Erica approached Cadence and caressed her arm to wake her up.

  "Hey, Cadence." Erica said and Cadence woke up.

  "Another 5 minutes mom!" Cadence said because her eyes were closed.

  "Cadence." Erica said laughing and then Cadence recognized Erica's voice and opened her eyes very quick.

  "Oh shit. I'm so so sorry captain!!!" Cadence said ashamed. Erica just started laughing and told her to not worry about it. Cadence was apologizing continuously and then Erica put her hand on Cadence's shoulder to assure her that it's okay.

  After that they left to go home.

Okayy! Part 3. This was nice, I liked it. This story is hard to write because I don't really know what to write.
