Cadence asked me if she can take a day off with Anna and I agreed to them. So today I was a little lonely because Nadia was also not at work, she was visiting her family and Melissa left the police station some minutes ago because she had to go somewhere.
After some hours full of working, an alert appeared suddenly on my computer screen.

Fuck. I took my jacket and rushed to the bank. I arrived there and saw that nothing happened and that's when I realised it was all a trap. Someone tricked me with a false alarm. I calmed down from running and returned to the police station.
I threw myself on the chair and then I see something on my desk. It was a note...

Shit. I know that it's from her, Soft Paws... I don't know if I should go but I have to. I had to arrive at the location at 9 PM and that means I still have 30 minutes left.
I left the police station and got in my car. I drove to the location and it was a creepy abandoned building. I got in and there I saw Soft Paws with a person who was tied on a chair.
"Wtf is wrong with you? Leave that man alone."
"Don't worry. I won't do anything to him if you listen to me." She said and I wanted to open my mouth to speak but I stopped because I wanted to save the man.
"Good. If you want me to release him, you have to bring me 1M dollars. If you bring the money, I will release him and I will stop from doing bad things. It's your choice cutie." She said and caught me off guard by calling me that.
"Fine. When do I have to bring you the money?"
"You will find that soon. Just keep an eye out and you will find my note." She said winking at me. I rolled my eyes and looked away.
I was leaving and I heard her saying "Be a good girl cutie and give me what I want."
"Stop calling me that!"
"Fine...Bye cutie! See you soon~" I rolled my eyes again and left from there.
The next day all the girls were back to work and I arranged a meeting with them to talk about what happened yesterday.
"What do you want to talk with us about?" Melissa asks.
"Something strange happened to me yesterday...
Fast forward:
After I explained to them what happened, Nadia was angry at me:
"Why the fuck did you accept and not stopped her??" Nadia yelled at me.
I was silent and then I smiled at her and Melissa understood me.
"Because she already has a plan Nadia." Melissa said to Nadia and I nodded.
"What's the plan then?"
"We can bring her fake money and you Nadia and Melissa are going to accompany me to catch her." I said and they nodded.
"And us..?" Cadence asked.
"You are going to stay here because it's dangerous." I told them and they agreed.
A hour passed and I had to go to the bathroom. I went to the bathroom and I found there a note on the mirror. It was another note from Soft Paws with the location and the time hour. I returned in to the office and told the girls. The time was in 2 hours.
The hours passed and we left the office. We arrived at the location and I told the girls to hide and after that I saw Soft Paws waiting for me, I approached her.
"Well well well. You actually came with the money! Good girl." I stopped myself to not smile because I had fake money and she didn't know.
"I brought you the money, now release the man."
"Not so fast. I have to look in the bag to see if the money is real." Fuck. We need to do it fast until she will see that the money is fake.
I gave her the bag and ran to the man and released him. I saw the man running and then I turned around and saw her behind me.
"You thought that you can fool me? Hahah" she said.
She punched me and then I punched her back. We fought and I threw her on the ground. I shouted to tell the girls to come help me but they didn't. I was looking in all directions to see if the girls are gonna appear but they never did. Soft Paws took advantage because I was not paying attention so she grabbed me by the neck, choking me.
"Oh, how sad. Your friends can't help you now cutie."
I elbowed her in the stomach to free myself and I pinned her to the ground, I got on top of her and started punching her. She punched me in the stomach making me stop from punching her. She took advantage of it and got on top of me and she put my hands above my head and I couldn't move. I looked at her and she looked at me. We were both starring in each other's eyes. I wanted to fight back but something made me weak and I couldn't use my strength. We both stopped from fighting and she started approaching my face and it made me turn my head to the side because I thought she wanted to kiss me. She approaches more and whispers to me:
"This is not the end cutie." She said and then got off me and left. When she left I saw her with another 2 people and then I realized that my friends got stopped by them. I hurried to them and untied them. After that they explained that the thief has 2 allies.
We were on our way back to the office and all the time I was silent. When we arrived at the office the girls asked me:
"What's wrong Erica? You've been silent the whole time after we left that place. Did something more happen and you didn't tell us?"
"Nothing's wrong don't worry."
Who was I fooling, I wasn't well at all. I was feeling very confused because of what happened earlier. I really felt something in that moment.
"Wtf are you blushing?" Nadia asked Erica making Cadence pay attention to them.
"No! What do you mean?" Erica said nervous and Cadence smirked.
"Hey, are you okay?" Anna asked Cadence because she was starting to blush.
"No..but don't ask me about it!" Cadence said making herself blush more.
