A/N: This story would happen before SkyClan gets driven out of the forest.
Plot: Acorntail is a young WindClan warrior. After the death of the beloved deputy, Pebblefur, WindClan leader, Featherstar chooses him to be a deputy to his shock and surprise. However, not every cat thinks that he's a good choice , some preferring a she-cat named Morningcloud to be the deputy instead.
All of that causes Acorntail to make many mistakes at the start of his career, however after gaining his first apprentice, he starts to show the potential Featherstar knew he had all along , yet cats still doubt him. Can he show them that he deserves the role?
