So, after reading the literal hundreds of comments y'all have made, I understand that y'all are invested in the story and seem to be enjoying it. I'm über thankful for it.
Speculation on the story is great. You guys are knocking it out of the park in that and I urge you all to continue trying to figure out the puzzle that I am putting in front of you.
Now, the number of you who have gotten extremely close to figuring out some major plot points have grown. Good job.
But regardless, nobody should be arguing with each other and insulting others, either.
I've got a zero tolerance policy and there's not gonna be any warning. I've invested way too much time and effort into this story to lose it, so consider yourselves warned this one time.
If my story gets obliterated by Wattpad because of overly aggressive comments, I'm not bringing it back. So chill the hell out, yeah? I really don't wanna break out the ban hammer but I've got that power if y'all can't control yourselves and behave.
I LOVE to hide things and reference them in subtlety for later. And this begs the final question I'm going to ask you all: How long can something be referenced and hinted at, both in subtlety and overtly, before it's not classified as a 'twist' in the story?
What is the limit that you all, as readers, draw the line and say that it's expected vs a twist?
Cause when things are revealed, it's gonna dawn on you how much I actually brought attention towards these certain things.
And one last thing, I can see that some of you are quite invested in the story emotionally. If you are, this is something I've been greatly interested in learning about. Why exactly does this story allow such a personal connection? Has my writing truly come so far since my first story? I'd love to hear your thoughts and perspectives.
Regardless, Thanks for taking the time to read this authors message and let's make 2024 something to be proud of.

"So that's the way the cards fold, huh? A whole lot of compromises I gotta make? What are you all doing for me?" Asked Swan.
The human watched as Benny thought for a moment and then glanced at Brixley.
"Well, for starters, we are clothing and feeding you. We are giving you shelter and a purpose in life." He said. Swan looked at him with a beleaguered expression.
"Bare necessities? I can't provide any of that for myself." Said Swan. His biggest insecurity is that he never once thought about what might happen after the war, especially if he somehow survived it.
He had no way of knowing how to conform to society.
"Taxes? What the fuck." Thought Swan. Despite his views on government and all things related, Swan really didn't know if he could ever adapt to a normal society. But then again, this society that he was being forced into was far from what he would consider normal.
"You're a grown man, Swan. You can manage, right?" Asked Benny. Swan inhaled and spread his lips thin as he stared at the dragon.
"What on Earth is a microwave?" Asked Swan. He pointed at them and waved his finger between all three of them.
