Hey guys, author here with a quick note: I love to drop many hints and such into my stories. Many of these hints are quite small and subtle as fully intended. But, these hints can provide such a large insight into the story and it's future.

Certain aspects might not be more than a simple google search, image search, or YouTube search away. As with most of my stories, they take influence from other pieces of media and could perhaps give some insight on what's to come.

To add on to the above point, some pieces of the story, be them dialogue or other things, sometimes have deeper meanings than what one might find. Some things I have written can sometimes have multiple meanings or mean multiple things.

There are only a few so far, a number small enough to count on one hand, but there will be more. I just wanted to let you all know so you can be little conspiracy theorists!

Also, new art for the characters is on the way! I hope you all look forward to seeing it posted in the chapters, and once everyone is drawn and colored, I'll make a chapter just for them!

"A mission. You're delusional." Swan looked up at her with an emotion that he knew properly expressed his absolute discontent.

The wolf looked down at him, seemingly oblivious to said discontent. She wore a tight lipped smirk.

"It's a simple mission. A light scouting objective. All you would need to do is go with one of our specialists and observe a camp full of high interest subjects." She said, amused.

Swan maintained his look and his apprehension.

"Uh huh. What makes them high interest?" He asked, pondering the idea of leaving the base as soon as possible. While he hated the thought of working for the furry freaks, they were turning out to possibly be his greatest chance of getting the Volt Driver.

"Lorentz. I just need to get into that building somehow." Swans thoughts ran through multiple avenues before he brought himself back to the present.

"They're high interest because I say they are, Swan." Replied Brixley. Her smile dropped and she looked down at him, obviously not used to being asked questions about missions.

Swan wasn't a mindless drone. He wouldn't blindly follow orders in any circumstance. Chelikov and practically everyone he had ever known had always told him to question everything.

"Anthro's are savages who have nothing on their mind but rape and kill. This is true because I say they are, Brixley." Swan's reply had the General raging once more, and she gave a short but audible growl.

"This is intentional. You are being frustrating on purpose." She said. Swan nodded.

"Of course I am! I'm being petty because you're forcing me to do something I really don't want to." Swan put on an aggravated tone, hoping that Brixley wouldn't be dense enough to miss it.

She folded her arms against her chest and looked down at him for a moment before sighing.

"I know you don't want to do this Swan, but you have no choice. You are a ward of the APG, and you are my responsibility." She explained, once more.

Swan didn't bother to register the explanation, already making his mind up that it was complete and total BS. In doing so, he decided to personally attack the General out of frustration.

"Do you have kids, General? Are you a mother?" He asked, randomly. His avenue of thinking was quite logical in his mind. Brixley seemed to give a motherly and nurturing vibe whenever she spoke to him, so he assumed she had children.
