Micah's point of view:
It was my 17th birthday, and it was a very hot sunny summer day.
We got ice cream to celebrate.
"I think Whitey has a friend!" Freddie whispered to Micah.
"I'm very happy that Whitey has someone to relate to!" Mo squealed in excitement.
"Look over there!" I yelled.
"They're holding hands!" Mo shouted in a mix of happiness and shock.
"Whitey's got a new significant other, and I'm really happy he finally found someone." Freddie expressed as I leaned on him grabbing his hand.
I think Mo's a little bit jealous and heartbroken because he got his heart broken by his first boyfriend.
"There's an assembly today, and I have a new song that I'm going to sing." I mentioned.
At the assembly:

"I have a surprise for you! A fresh, hot song by our very own Micah Roberts!" Father Flanagan announced."
"It's my 17th birthday today, which means I'm leaving in a year. I just came up with a song about all of the hardships my friends and I have been through, and I hope at least some of you can relate..."
