Patrice Asher Aizenberg
"Here, Asher." Justine handed me the 'gun'. "End him now." She commanded. My heart constricted as I looked into the man's swelling eyes. He is begging for his life in front of us.
"I have a family, two daughters and my wife's sick. Please, let me live!" He cried, begging for his life. I'm not used to kill, it's not in my nature. My job is to heal and preserve life of people, not to kill. But...
The door creaked open, kaya agad na tinutok nila Justine, Tina at Letum ang baril nila sa tatlong tao na kararating lang. As they recognized the newcomers, they lowered their weapons.
"Almost time. What are you doing? Why are you taking so long?" Blaire’s asked in cold and calculating expression. She gave me and Justine the once-over glance, but her eyes end on me, like she was sizing me up.
"Kill him," Blaire snapped, like it was nothing. The old guy in front of me was crying his eyes out. His begging voice filled every corner of the room.
"What are you waiting for, Patrice? Kill him now!" Blaire barked. So I pointed the gun at the old guy's head and pulled the trigger. One shot, and he went down, blood pouring out of his head. His eyes, wide and empty, stared up at me, the life drained from them.
Hindi ito ang unang pagkakataon na pumatay ako ng tao simula naging part ako ng AMO. but the feeling was always the same. It wasn't a regrets, it was something more... a strange, cold sorrow.
"It's time. Nasa ibaba na ibaba na yung car." Saad ni Blaire, tinanggal nga ang itim na bandana na Naka takip sa kalahating-ibabang parte ng muka nya bago sya lumapit saakin.
"Hey Patrice. Nice shot," Blaire smirked.
"Are we taking the body to Aizenberg Mansion?" I asked, my voice strained. Blaire shook her head and turned towards the body bag, which Letum and Major Greg were now carrying.
"Fucking heavy!" Letum whined. The target was a big guy, probably around 6'1 ft. tall, kaya mabigat talaga sya. Plus the death person have its deadweight effect kaya mas lalong bumibigat sya sa pakiramdam ng nagbubuhat.
"No. Aizenberg Mansion is too far from here. If we take it there, the body will be in the trunk till morning, that's too risky. Plus, there are too many checkpoints today," Blaire said. She gave me a pat on the shoulder and told me to get going.
