I sat on a small stool, turning the pages of a magazine as I took a bite from the burger Erin had brought to me. She felt bad about the incident from yesterday. She had decided to drop by and bring me lunch and had insisted on cooking dinner.

My head snapped to the store entrance when I heard the sound that informed me a customer was there. When I saw who it was my eyes immediately rolled in complete annoyance.

"You've got to be kidding me," I whispered to myself, and then I shook my head.

I continued to read my magazine, deciding that maybe if I ignored them they would just leave me alone.

"Hey!" Calum's girlfriend said as they both stood in front of the counter. I ignored them and flipped the page as if I hadn't heard. "Look up," she said, but this time she pulled the magazine, closing her fingers around it tightly.

"Hey! What's wrong with you?"

"I just wanted your attention, your fault you didn't listen."

"Don't you guys have something better to do than bother me?" I rolled my eyes, thinking of ways I could make them leave me alone.

"You're the one bothering us," Calum said, "You ruined last night when you decided to be stupid and immature by throwing your drink at me!"

"Me? Immature? Please! You're the one that texted me and lead me to your little party. All your fault." I shrugged and watched as the girl furrowed her brows with both confusion and anger.

"He texted you? You texted her to go?" She looked at me first and then turned to look at him. Calum's face turned to one of concern.

"Well,—"

"Did you?" Her face was red with anger as she looked back to me. "What did he text you?"

"Nothing. Just that he needed me at that party."

"You're lying!" Calum said. "Babe, she's lying. I never texted her to go, she has no proof." I realized that he was right, there was no proof but something else also came to mind.

"Okay," I said letting out a sigh that resulted in them turning over to look at me. "I was lying, he didn't text me. But he did call me the other day, to complain about how you two had just broken up. Told me he really needed someone."

"Liar," Calum said as he shook his head at me.

"Look, heres the call," I said as I demonstrated my call log to her and her eyes widened when she saw it.

"That was when we weren't together. Why would you call her?!"

"I didn't call her because of that. I didn't say anything!"

"Then how did she know we werent together then! I'm done with this!" Without another word she stormed off, with Calum running after her. I let out a light laugh at the events that had just happened.

Before leaving for her night shift at the hospital, Erin had cooked some amazing pasta and had even baked a cheesecake for dessert. I was sitting in the kitchen, enjoying my food, when suddenly there was a knock on the door.

I had not expected anyone to come over so I debated whether I should even open the door.

"Raven."

Calum.

I rolled my eyes and continued to eat, deciding he wasn't worth interrupting my dinner. He continued to knock as I ate and as the seconds passed I became more annoyed.

"Raven I know you're in there. Please open up. I just want to talk to you. I want this childish game to end."

I took the last bite of my dinner, following it with a sip of water. It was obvious that Calum was not going to stop so I decided I would be opening the door, even though I was sure that we wouldn't fix anything.

"What do you want?" I said as I opened the door, giving him an annoyed look.

"To talk."

"Okay, talk." I said as I crossed my hands over my chest.

"Can't I go inside?"

"Absolutely not." He rolled his eyes when I said that, but there was a small smirk on his lips.

"Fine. I'll be quick. I just want us to end this thing we have going on."

"What thing? The thing where you're constantly annoying me?" I said to him and he looked at me annoyed.

"Hey, you're constantly annoying me."

"Not at all. You're the one constantly texting me, calling me, going to my job, and telling me you need me like some crazy obsessed freak!"

"I'm not a freak!" He said as he took one step closer to me, anger clear on his face. I took a step back, but tried my best not to show the slight fear I began to feel. I didn't quite know him and didn't know what he was capable of.

"You should leave," I told him as I held eye contact with him, trying to be as intimidating as I could. That task was quite impossible though because Calum towered over me incredibly, there was nothing intimidating about me.

"Not until you apologize."

"Never," I said and he took another step closer.

"Then I guess I'm never leaving."

"You're incredibly ridiculous. I've never met someone as detestable as you!"

"Neither had I. You're the definition of and insipid, stubborn little girl that can't take responsibility for anything." Calum said as he leaned down closer to me, almost as if to make sure I heard him.

"And you're the definition of a fucked up little boy who has nothing better to do than mess with people."

"I really hate you." He spoke, almost as if saying it to only himself.

"Yeah well I hate you."

"I hate you more," he said.

"I do!"

"No, I do!" He said and that was the beginning of the supidest argument, as we both went back and forth until the argument finally came to an end.

But it didn't end the way I had expected.

I was absolutely surprised when I suddenly saw Calum lean down quickly towards me and placed his lips on mine.

The kiss lasted seconds and slowly he began to pull away confused. He looked into my eyes and we both wore looks of horror as we both felt unsure of what to do.

Without another word, he turned away and left.

Calum had just kissed me, and the worst part of it all was that I had kissed him back!
