Chandrakanta was crying and pouring her heart out to lord shiva.
“Mahadev i want my daughter back please”, she cried.
“We cannot fight our fate dear”, an old lady arrived there.
“Oh lady i lost my daughter today”, chandrakanta hugged the lady and cried.
“Dear if he has taken something he would give back something too”, the lady said.
“Maai why i’m so cursed that i had to see my own daughters death?’’
“It’s all about fate dear, suppose you would have died in front of your daughter then?”
“Maai can i get my daughter back?”
“You can dear”.
“How?”
“Again giving birth to her”.
“I don’t have my husband with me”.
“It’s a new generation , there are so many ways you can be a mother”.
Chandrakanta realized what the old lady was saying.
“But….”,chandrakanta hesitated.
“Dear, i’m nt saying just do it now you can do whenever you want to”.
“Maai we all have a devi in us and today you came as devi for me”.
“Devi maa is with everyone and in everyone she is always around you dear” the lady said and blessed her.
Then the old lady got up and went out.
“I know it was you maa parvati”, chandrakanta knew it was mahakali who came to help her nd guide her.
Then she went back home , she was still sad. When she reached home only suryakanta and veer and the kids were there.
“Where is anuradha?”,chandrakanta asked.
“She with her sister went back to her abode”,suryakanta said. Chandrakanta picked up shivani and went with her to the room.
Suryakanta made dinner for everyone, while chandrakanta fed shivani.
“Chandu have some food now”, suryakanta said.
“Chandu”, surya also said the word.
“Suryakanta why are you saying that old nick name in front of kids,they will also start calling me tha only”, chandrakanta felt awkward.
“Ok have some food”,suryakanta said.
“No i don't want to have anything”, chandrakanta said.
“Please a little bit”, Suryakanta requested.
Surya got up with him small feet and picked up a sweet from the plate , then slowly went and kept it near chandrakanta’s mouth as if he is saying to eat . chandrakanta was overwhelmed, she ate the sweet and hugged his son like nephew.
Now chandrakanta started working in an office, earning money and Suryakanta opened a bakery, veer also use to go to do surgeries and chandrakanta and her sister took care of th kids. Chandrakanta focused on shivani and surya.
It was five six months now since mohini died. One day chandrakanta went to the hospital .
When she came home it was late, everyone tense.
“Where were you chandrakanta?”veer asked.
“I was so scared”, Suryakanta started scolding her sister, “you are getting ut of hands day by day, don’t tell us before going somewhere, we get tensed and if we are not at home text us where are you going…”
“I’m gonna be a mother”,chandrakanta interrupted Suryakanta and said.
“You always do as you wish,”,suryakanta was still scolding her when she realized what chandrakanta said and said, “wait what?”
“Yes, yes i’m pregnant”,chandrakanta had tears.
“How come?”, veer asked.
“Single mother , i had done ivf some weeks ago and today got the report of my check up, i’m pregnant”.
Suryakanta hugged chandrakanta, “oh my god i’m so happy”.
“Our Mohini is coming back”, chandrakanta rejoiced.
“Didi”, surya babbled.
“Yes kiddo you didi is coming soon but she will be younger than you”,chandrakanta picked surya and danced in joy.
Then Suryakanta took her to the table and made her sit, “now just take rest and eat healthy”.
“I will but i won’t sit idle in the house please”, chandrakanta requested.
“Yeah you can go out but be careful”, veer said.
“I want to go to the shiv temple now”, chandrakanta said.
Suryakanta and chandrakanta went the shiv temple or the Naag temple after a long time.
It’s good to see you after so many months dear”, Naag baba said.
“Baba i’m pregnant and i want your blessing”,chandrakanta said.
“So mahanaag rani is coming back”, naag baba smiled.
“Yes she is”, suryakanta said.
“As what blessing you want?”naag baba said.
“I want that the daughter who is going to be born from my womb would not be a naagin”,chandrakanta said firmly.
“What are you saying?”devanshi said coming there.
“Yes i don’t want my daughter to be a naagin”, chandrakanta said.
“You are saying, that your child who is herself the Mahanaag rani would not be a naagin nor will she come to naag lok”, devanshi was a bit angry.
“Yes, i don’t want my daughter to be the Mahanaag rani, didn’t you see how Mahanaag rani Mohini , my daughter was killed, i don’t want my daughter to suffer”.
“You can't decide what will be your daughter’s fate”,naag baba said.
“I’m her mother i can decide what is good for her”, chandrakanta said.
“And what about the responsibilities of the Naag mani?”devanshi asked, she was still angry.
“You are the shesh naagin, the real protector of naag mani”,chandrakanta said.
“What if i die?”
“Why would you and i have taken the pledge that none of my family members would be related to naag lok”,chandrakanta said.
“Chandrakanta being a naagin is a boon”,devanshi tried to convince chandrakanta.
“It would be a curse for my daughter”,chandrakanta said, “why are you not understanding being a naagin would not be safe for my daughter”.
“And shivani, after she turns twenty one she would become a Vishkanya , then?”suryakanta said.
“I will never tell them know about their powers or never tell them about me being a naagin”, chandrakanta said.
“You are getting mad”,naag baba said angrily.
“Yes i’m getting mad, any mother would get mad to save her children”,chandrakanta said.
“You can’t change their fates chandrakanta”,devanshi said.
“As long as i have breath, i won’t let this happen”,chandrakanta was firm in her decision.
