Ch 50 - A Tragic Battle

After the party was over they all went to sleep.

"SHIVYAAAAA!!", Kartik entred the house with rage.

Shivya and Arjun came out of the room and saw Kartik.

"WHY DID YOU KILL NAINA?"", Kartik screamed on top of his voice.

"She was a traitor to naag lok, she killed my daughter, she killed Shivani's daughter", Shivya said.

"I will not leave you", Kartik was about to attack when he heard Shivani's voice, "Kartik".

Shivani came down the stairs, she had tears in her eyes.

"You?? You are alive?", Kartik was shocked.

"Yes I am alive", Shivani got a bit emotional.

"God! This is so irritating, now I have to spend more energy just to kill two of you", Kartik says not even caring about Shivani.

"You can't kill us", Shivani said standing in front of Shivya.

Kartik closed his eyes and after a minute his looks changed. He was now wearing a black dhoti, he had horns, fangs and red demonic eyes. Shivani took her Vishkanya form and they both started fighting.

Shivani took a sword ans at once severed Kartik's head. As she turned back to look at Arjun and Shivya she got hit by a rod. Kartik was back alive.

"I can't be killed so easily", Kartik laughed as Shivani fainted.

Shivya got furious and her eyes turned red, she remembered Maa kali and her body started absorbing cosmic energies. Shivya turned into Mahakali. She grabbed Kartik and jumped towards the sky.

Shivy as Mahakali took Kartik too the open battle field near the Naag temple. Kartik summoned demons by his powers to attack her but she fought effortlessly and killed every demon who came forth her way.

Then Kartik and Mahakali had fierce sword fight, with a scream Mahakali struck her sword on his and threw it away. Kartik took summoned a mace and attacked her, but she fought that too and destroyed it.

Kartik tried to run scared of death, but Mahakli came before him in every direction he tried to run. Mahakali grabbed his hairs and severed his head and drank the blood flowing from his neck.

Arjun and Shivani arrived there and saw Shivya as Mahakali standing with one foot of hers on Kartik's head and other on his body, and she was taking heavy breathes.

They both bowed to Mahakali but she roared, her anger was not over yet. Then there came a sage.

"Jai Mahakali, my life has been successful", The sage said.

"Baba", Arjun joined his hands and went to the sage, "she is my wife, please help me, I need to calm her down".

"Offer her blood, offer her a sacrifice", he sage said.

"What kind of sacrifice?", Shivani asked.

"Soul sacrifice", Sage said and walked away.

Arjun stood up and said, "I will go".

"No I will, and you can't stop me", Shivani said as she tied Arjun with snakes. Shivani opened her jewels, as she opened the broach the identity of her being the Daughter of chandrakanta was removed.

She gave the broach to Arjun and said, "give this to Shivya".

Then Shivani walked towards Mahakali who was dancing in rage on the battle field and knelt before her. Mahakali in rage took her trident and pushed it through her stomach killing her.

As shivani fell down Shivya's Mahakali avatar disappeared and she saw her and cried, "SHIVANI!!".

Shivya kept Shivani's head on her lap and said, "No no no! What have I done, Shivani please don't leave me again".

"Nothing is your fault, I had to sacrifice myself otherwise Mahakali would have destroyed the whole world", Shivani uttered with words with pain, "And it was my wish to die so I will noe really die".

"No you won't go anywhere", Shivya cried.

"I have to", Shivani shut her eyes forever.

Arjun's ties were now open and he ran to her and hugged her, consoling her.

"This is the truth of revenge, when you try to take revenge it also harms your won family", Sati arrived there, "Man I missed the scene".

Shivya got up her eyes watery but angry, "And my revenge will be over when I kill you".

"You can't kill me", Sati said and took her half snake form.

Shivya took her half snake form too and they both started fighting. Throwing powerful beams on each other, hitting each other with the tail. Sati overpowered Shivya and she grabbed her by her tail and threw her away. She fell on Mahadev's Shivalinga.

Sati kept Shivya legs pushed down to the floor by her tail while she bit Arjun and killed him.

"NOOO!! NOOOO ARJUN", Shivya cried and looked at the shivalinga.

"You killed my mother, I killed your husband", Sati says.

As Shivya touched the Shivalinga, it rose above the ground and the naag mani came out and it went inside her body. Shivya got up getting out of Sati's tail grip.

Shivya was really angry, "You have done a lot of sins but now today it's your end", Shivya's third eyes area started glowing and she said, "Om Namah Shivay", her third eye opened up.

She threw a beam on Sati which burnt her alive and she also threw a Trident towards her chest, she died and turned into ashes.

Shivya then looked around and saw her husband and sister dead too. She broke down and started crying.

"MAA!!", Shivya cried, "I completed my revenge, but I can't share my happiness with anybody, cause the happiness of my life are dead, my own family is dead, I lost everyone while fighting for myself. I killed my own family".

Then a shadow was seen from a far.

"You can share your happiness with me", The figure standing in the dark said.

"Who are you?", Shivya asked still tears rolling down her cheeks.

As the figure moved closer Shivya realised it was Chandrakanta.

"Maa", Shivya said.

"Shivya, my daughter, its like seeing my daughter for the first time", Chandrakanta said with tears in her eyes, "it's the first time I'm hearing mother from you".

"Maa we won our battle", Shivya said and was about to hug her mother when she got a dagger inside her Stomach. Chandrakanta stabbed Shivya.

"Maa, Why did you kill me?', Shivya said and fell on the ground.

Tears rolled down Chandrakanta's cheeks but she didn't answer Shivya and walked away back into the dark.

Why did Chandrakanta kill her own daughter?
