Freens pov

Dad has been my pillar of support ever since mom passed away. You've suffered enough Dad. It's time. I hope you'll have a good time catching up with Mum.

I am not very fond of arranging the last ritual ceremony but Robert insisted on having one because Dad has been a pioneer in his field. Yes, he was, I agreed with Robert and asked him to do the necessary things to be done.

Anya has gone on vacation. She has gone to visit Tee in New York. She is very fond of her grandpa. I already made arrangements to fly her down here. Alex has already been sent to the airport.

People have started to come for the ceremony. I could see Nam being tensed and running back and forth. She was a person who did her work without any fault. I have never seen her this nervous. I saw Nam, Robert, and Alice arguing about something. The arrangements must have been hectic for her. I couldn't hear anything but I saw Robert helping her to calm down.

Then they proceeded to the hall, Alice was staying with me. I received a call from Nam, she asked me to come quickly as everyone was waiting for me and she told me that she had taken Anya with her to the stage. I said Nam was acting weirdly to Alice.

I slipped into my thoughts.

Anya. She is my only hope now, the only family remaining. She is more like a mom to me. She is 6 now but somewhat matured for her age. She understands me well. To my surprise, she never asked about her mother. But I know someday she will bring up the question to which I had no answers.

I'm seeing her after 10 days. I've never allowed her to stay somewhere outside my mansion.

Tee. I found her whereabouts some three years ago. She is working with the Pixar animation team. She is married and living with her wife and children in New York. Tee insisted on sending Anya over there for vacation. Anya was also interested to see Tee's workplace so I agreed to send her.

Alice. She met Antonio in college. They got married soon after Becky left England. Antonio is a man with good values, he became our company's legal advisor and Alice took care of the finance department. Dylan and Neon are their sons. The boys are four now. Anya is like their big sister. Hmm, technically she is her sister in a way.

Freen we should get going Alice said. I'm spacing out very often lately. Alice walked to the main hall behind me. Soon after I entered the area I saw some hundreds of people sitting. All in black dresses. I went to the stage and sat beside Anya. I took her hands and intervened my fingers with hers. Robert came near me and whispered Freen people will come and have a talk with you and Anya. Please respond to them. They are all our business alleys. He said and left the stage. Alice stood a little away from me with her husband.

People were consoling me for my loss.

"Dada everyone is telling the same thing. It's boring to hear them",  Anya whispered

"Anya you should not talk like this. They all love Grandpa as much as you do. Understand?"

I was having a little talk with Anya.  Until I heard the angelic voice calling my name. I'm in disbelief. No, it's not her, it's my brain tricking me. No...no...no.. it should not be her. I'm quarreling with my thoughts.

Freen...she called again. My god it's her. My Becky. I'm very happy that she is here but at the same time what if she finds out about Anya? What if she claims her? I was engulfed in fear. I can't make her stand for so long.

When I looked up. There she is my Becky. She looked so stunning and graceful. Only God knows how much I was trying not to pull her into my embrace. I had to wear a flat face in front of her. Seeing her with Nop is still a pain in my ass even though I knew they never had a romantic encounter. Becky's eyes were carrying a dozen emotions, I'm trying to read them one by one.
