Jo stared at Logan and Leonardo standing in front of her. Logan was grinning with all his teeth out, and Leonardo was leaning against the doorframe, giving her a small smile.
"Where's Uncle an-woah, Ryan, is that you?" Logan asked a groaning Ryan, who slowly sat up straight, rubbing his back.
"Hello Logan, Leo," Ryan greeted them curtly and turned towards Jo.
"I'll be taking off then, until next time Jo."
Before Ryan could exit the room, the twins stopped him and asked, "I don't see Uncle anywhere. What were you doing here?"
"Well, Sir and ma'am have gone for a luncheon with the Morettis, I just thought to give little Jo some company as she has been all alone in this house."
"We were talking about my favorite books, and coincidently, we share the same love for the Harry Potter series," Jo cleared because she could that the twins looked at him with suspicious eyes. She was lucky enough to notice his Harry Potter keyring hanging out of his pocket.
Logan gave him a side-eye, "Okay, now get out."
Ryan swiftly bowed and exited the room.
However, before he could get to the entrance of the house, he was stopped again.
"The next time you call her honey, there is going to be a bullet in your head."
Ryan did not need to turn around to know who it was.

"What are you guys doing here," Jo asked.
"Okay, that's rude. What happened to hi or hello" Logan said dramatically.
Jo laughed, "Hello guys."
"Hi Jo, how's life with the fam," Logan asked, walking up to the nearest beanbag and plopping onto it.
"It's bearable," Jo drawled.
Leonard laughed and sat next to her on the couch, "Axel would flip if we told him you called him bearable. "
"Don't you dare, Axel's a cutiepie, but I'm not sure about the others. We haven't really talked."
Logan made a face and ruffled her hair.
Leonard swatted his twin's hand away and set Jo's hair back to its place. Jo was surprised to see Leo comb her hair through his fingers. His eyebrows furrowed in concentration as he fixed her hair.
Through the reflection that fell on the window, Jo almost saw a glimpse of her father. The window rattled and a gust of warm wind blew over them. She remembered how he would braid her neatly and put pink clips right over her ears.
She looked towards the big decorative mirror right beside the window and saw the sun hitting Leonard's eyes, and making them look like honey.
Her father's eyes were brown as well, did they shine in the sun too.
"Oh God, seriously Leo", Logan rolled his eyes and plopped down on the couch opposite them.
"His OCD is kicking in".
When Leonard seemed satisfied enough, he turned towards Logan and stated, "I don't have OCD, I just don't like unruly things".
Jo snapped back to reality and smiled awkwardly.
"Do you guys want something, coffee, juice, or something else?"
"Look at this Leo, Jo is hosting us".
Jo stiffened at the comment and just laughed it off.
"It's just nobody's home", "Axel's home".
Looking at Jo's confused expression, Logan began to explain, "Axel has these phases, when he's painting something, he rarely gets out of his room, he doesn't eat or sleep properly, he doesn't even talk to anyone-"
