As I sat in my car in front of the rink I was frozen in place, there was to much going on I couldn't focus..He always crowds my mind when I'm the most busy or in need to grasp to my thoughts and yet every one of those thoughts seems to be of him.
I tell myself it's because of what he did for me so many years ago, but I know that's not true maybe I'm like many of the other girls and can't help the looks of Jack Hughes but deep down I know there is something that ties us together.
I push past my thoughts, he's the one who forgot about our plans to go on a date. Since when was he even going on dates and still why did he forget our plans...
It's unlike him.
Focus Josie, Focus. I'm about to walk into to a totally new team and show them what I can do and I'm worried about Jack, Focus.
I began to shrug off all my thoughts of Jack Hughes and I walked into the area and do what I do best, Figure Skating. ____________________________________ •Jack's Point Of View•
Im in my car driving through traffic on the phone with Trevor, I'm on my way to his parents house something about them not answering the phone and he was worried something happened. I glanced at the time I totally missed driving Josie to practice.
Fuck.
I told Trevor about my plans a few hours before while we were playing war zone. He began to get quiet and I asked him if something was wrong and now I'm here sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, just for Trevor to tell me his parents are fine and they just texted him.
Best of yet Josie probably just about lit all my shit on fire, I can imagine how she's feeling the stress of a new team, me skipping out on her plans.
I began make a u-turn and finally start moving through the traffic, slowly making my was towards the rink, I had to make it up to her somehow and I had just the way.
As I arrive in the rink I checked the time.

This means she should already be on the ice practicing, so I made my way in and found where the team was practicing. I found the seat closest to the ice and sat there, that's when my eyes landed on her.
God she's so perfect, I watched as she glided on the ice throwing in different spins she looked amazing, underdressed compared to the other skaters there but she stood out the most, She always shined the brightest and her skating looked the most alluring, her form was cleaner, her spins tighter not one person on that ice compared to Josie Zegras and hell, they all knew it.
She got pulled into the middle of the ice and two people started talking to her and she nodded before gliding past me and going in for her triple axel, Not one person was shocked when she landed it but everyone kept watching her glid gracefully back into the middle before a coach pointed to me and her faced paled and she began to skate over.
Oh shit...
"Done with your date?" she spat at me.
"What date, forget that it doesn't matter I'm here now let me take you somewhere" I offered a weak smile.
"My practice is over, and I have to go take my skates off, you're the least of my worries." She began to make her way off the ice leaving a trail of fire be-hide her.
I couldn't just give up, I don't give up so I did what seemed the best idea I waited for her outside her car. ____________________________________ •Josie's Point Of View•
I truly saw red walking off the ice, after skipping our plans he has the audacity to show up to my practice and watch me. He throws me so far off my game it's honestly a joke.
As I sat in the locker room I unlaced my skates and listened to my coach talk about plans for competition, the team was great they were all super nice. I was the main focus on the ice and I hated that but it helped getting feed back, they were truly treating me like their star skater.
I threw my bag and walked out to my car finally cooling off from my interaction with Jack, that is until I heard his voice.
"Let me take you somewhere, I promise I'll explain myself."
I listened to his voice and promised myself I wouldn't let him sweet talk his way into me going somewhere with him, but we have been here once and it will happen again. And I always give into Jack Hughes.
"Why should I, you couldn't even offer me a text Jack."
His gaze softened and he stared down at me.
"Please just let me Jos?" I sighed before motioning over to his car and he let out his hand before we started walking over to his car.
