When we got off the plane my nerves began to raise as fast as a cheetah. We got into the bus and I was sat next to Jack and I studied everyone, Ava was staring at Jack again. I tilted my head and looked at Jack who was on his phone texting someone, Luke was on this phone again like his brother texting someone.
I leaned on Jack and he set his phone down and began to rub my arm out of comfort. He knew I was nervous, he just didn't understand how nervous I am.
If I don't land all my jumps and spins it won't be perfect and everyone expects me to be perfect, and i'm not.

I bounced my leg up and down watching out the window before my phone started to buzz and I glanced at the caller ID to see it was Trev.
I answered and put the phone up to my ear.
"What Trevor?"
-I'm at the rink, i'm sure your gonna do great i'll see you there-
"Trevor I thought I told you no."
-You did I just don't care -
"Whatever see you there" I mumbled out
Jack tilted his head at me before I shrugged and began to watch the rest of the bus interact but I couldn't help but see someone gaze locked on Jack.
And I didn't like it.

We all had gotten off the bus and Ava and I are now lacing up our skates. We were dressed in our competition day outfits.
Jack was approaching where we were seated and I watched Ava's face light up and become red.
"Need help Jos?" I nodded my head and he knelt in front of me beginning to tie my skates.
"Your gonna do great don't worry about it" I offered a light smile, I was overwhelmed and to consumed on other things but I knew one thing I needed my brother.
"Will you go find Trevor, I need him" Jacks eyes soften before he finished lacing up my skates and went to go find Trevor before Ava called out.
"What about my Skates?!" She laughed I just stared blankly at her.
Jack returned back a few moments later with Trevor. He walked away after he brought Trevor over but I watched him he was talking to Ava..
"What's wrong, are you okay?!" Trevor questioned quickly.
I wrapped my arms around my brother before whispering in a "i'm sorry."
"It's okay don't be sorry just talk to me." I nodded my head into his shoulder before he rubbed my back and pulled us apart.
"You can do this, Your the best skater I know just don't worry about anything else deal with it after" I nodded before he walked away and I sat back on the bench.
I watched Jack get out of him and Ava's conversation before he walk over to me and lightly tapped my shoulder.
"What was that about" I asked
"Ava was just asking me out to eat." I tilted my head as rage ran through me.
"And what did you say?" I snapped.
"That I didn't see why not." I let out a laugh before the loud speaker went off.

"Fuck you Jack." I pushed past him as he stumbled and I made my way onto the ice.
I glided on the ice quickly trying to take my anger off, I began my routine as usual going through but I decided to go for the triple axle at the end.
I could do it and I would do it just to spite everyone
I began to skate going up into the air and I went for it and I landed it.
Cheers and applause began to ring out into the air as I let a smile slip. My coach was jumping up and down yelled and stupid Ava was just clapping.
I breezed off the ice putting my skate covers on before going to sit and untie my laces.
Jack came rushing over and I got up and walked past though I heard him yell my name a few times I couldn't care because Ava and I were about to talk, then I would deal with him.
Trevor was hot on my tail now asking me what happened and why I was so pissed off I began to explain to him while he questioned everything in disbelief.
"Listen Jos as much as I hate you guys together Jack would never do that to you."
"Well he just did so." I crossed my arms.
I was going to go deal with Ava and Jack but Trevor had convinced me not to. He said just take my first place award and go home.
