The next day I laid tangled up in Josie's bed and snuggled into her neck. The game yesterday was sort of rough I gave it to Vincent and got it right back.
Her phone began to ring a bunch last night and I chose to ignore it all, my parents wanted the full story and how Luke was doing. Josie's family wanted her to answer Trev and I just didn't want to disturb the war going on in her head.
She told me yesterday about Vincent's threat and I began to see red. Not only does Vincent start every fucking thing on the internet it's his fans who obsess over Josie. Josie's fans are more wrapped up in her skating and other people.
The hockey team leaves today for two away games one against the Boston Bruins and the other game against the Carolina Hurricanes. I have convinced Josie to come with us since her skating team is traveling and competing in states, Most hockey players bring their girlfriends not that Josie is my girlfriend.
Last night when we got home I showered while Josie and Luke packed their bags. Luke's stuff sat in josie's room and the kid played hockey and Josie still had more stuff than him. A large Skating bag with rollers sat on the ground, Next to it was a large suite case, small carry on bag, and back pack. Compared to Luke's large hockey bad and tiny carry on.
We have to leave our place at 11 and be on the bus at 11:40. Luke's injury's aren't as bad as they thought so he will be playing in both games. ____________________________________ • Josie's Point Of View•
I had woken up to so many things, starting off with Jack running around the house making sure we had everything and Luke laying in the bed letting out a groan when I rolled over.
"Jesus it's like a carnival in here." Luke laugh and I offered him a smile before reach at my phone to check notification's.
I had a few messages from my parents wishing me good luck and that they will be watching. Another from a very upset Trevor and then there was my coaches who were making sure we were ready for states.
I answer back all the messages but Trevor's before I noticed an unknown number texted me.
Unknown: Stay safe on that ice wouldn't want you to fall.
Unknown: I'll be watching.
I stared at the message and hundreds of thoughts over came me, consumed me. Who was this? how did a fan even get my number.
Before I could overthink the situation Jack rushed in the room collecting on my bags and was out the door. When we arrived on the plane the space was filled with chatter. The hockey team left way before the skating team to arrive at the plane for some reason even though we were leaving at the same time. I looked around the plane for a seat I saw Nico and Bratt sitting together Luke was sitting across from Jack who had saved a seat with a bag.
I made my way towards him sitting next to him before Ava got on the plane and sat next to Luke who was staring at the door watching another skater enter the plane and Ava was watching Jack pocket his phone and lay his head on my shoulder.
I fell asleep and I knew that when I woke up it would be.
