My name is Rosa and I'm 13.
I'm in district 13 one of the poorest districts.
I get made fun of from other districts like 1 or 4 because they are richer than mine.
I usually stay to myself but right now I'm in some kind of transportation, mostly likely a truck or a bus
I'm sitting by the door by my self since my partner James died just 20 minutes ago.
He was shoot but I don't wanna get into how and everything.
My eyes were red from all the crying and my face all dirty and I was tired I haven't been to sleep in 2 days straight. I wanted to cry I felt sick inside and didn't have anyone to help or protect me in the games.
But right now reaper and the others were dealing with a Capitol boy that for some dumb reason came into the truck, he says he's Lucy grays mentor and we all get one.
I wasn't really Paying anything attention though. That was my problem I could never focus on anything.
I look around the truck about to cry but not dare to let a tear fall. As I was looking around my eyes locked in with a pair of brown ones.
I quickly looked down at my shoes and old dress so I wouldn't be a target. But that's when I felt someone stand up and sit by me. I didn't pay them any mind and didn't dare to look up at them but that's when they took my hand and started rubbing myhand.
I looked up seeing it was the boy I locked eyes with.
I think he was from district 4.
My face turned red but I liked the way he held my hand I felt like I was safe with him, I could still hear the truck stop and it starts leaning over.
I gasp leaves my mouth and someone is quick to grab me by my waist as I held onto the bench.
That's when the doors open and the truck leans over more. I fell out with everyone hearing there yells and screams before hitting the large rock I groan as I rub my head and realize that the boys arm is still around my waist. I slowly stand up as the boy and everyone does the same looking around.
We were in a zoo.
