I woke up early this morning and decided to eat breakfast at the dining table when Rick sat down.

"How are you this morning?" He asked me as I shoveled more eggs and bacon on my plate.

"Truthfully, I'm exhausted." I said with a sigh taking a big sip of my water. "Is it Snow?"

"Yes, no, just everything." I explained rubbing my hand across my face.

"Well, sadly that's what the games do to you. But don't let it get to you." Rick explained to me as a woman sat his drink in front of him.

"How do you not let the games get to you?" I said with a frustrated sigh as Ledger sat down next us.

"That's a good question Rick." Ledger responded, as he sat down at the table and started to eat.

"One of the biggest things about these games is, they want to get in your head. What are you willing to do to survive?"

Rick explained to us. "I thought the whole point of these games was to act like you said."

"That's only a quarter love," Rick explained to me in his sweet accent. "They want to get into your head, just like you want to do with them."

Rick said as he glanced between me and Ledger.

"But Isabella, you said you were exhausted?" "Yes," I said yawning right when he said the word exhausted.

"Well I'd take a nap, because Snow wants to talk to you later today." "About what?"

"I don't know, all he told me was he wanted to find out what you're really capable of."

Rick said as I finished up eating.

I decided to take the nap after all and a few hours later there was a knock at my door.

"Miss, Snow is here," a young woman said. "Can he come in?"

She asked me kindly. "Yeah, send him in," I explained as she moved to the side allowing Snow to step in.

He was in a lot more laid back clothes today, only wearing blue slacks, a white button up and a matching blue vest.

He walked around me as he eyed me up and down. Like he was stalking prey.

Everytime he walked around me I was surrounded by the smell of him, which I wasn't complaining about.

"My eyes are up here."

I explained to him as he looked me in the eyes. "Don't get flattered Miss Blood, I'm just trying to figure out if you actually have a chance of winning."

"Wow thanks for the confidence." "Get in something you can move in," Snow commanded before leaving and shutting my door.

I did exactly as he said no surprise, and dressed in something I could move in. Something tells me there's going to be a lot of physical activity.

"Ready," I said, as I saw him standing next to the front entrance door. "Follow me."

He said as he walked down the hallway in long strides. We turned down a hallway where he opened a door that lead to stairs.

"Okay where are you taking me?" I asked him. "Why are you afraid I'll kill you?"

"If anyone would, it would be you." I said as he stopped and opened the door to another room at the bottom of the stairs.

"Just get in," he said exhausted. As soon as I stepped in I saw a bunch of equipment for what looked like working out, and a throwing station with knives and axes.
