It's been a few days, and they've finally let me out of the hospital room. Ledger has kept me company while I was in the hospital. And I haven't seen Coriolanus since he visited me.
But who cares, good riddance if you ask me.
"When do we go back home?" I asked Ledger as we sat down on the couch in our hotel.
"About that." Rick said as he walked over with a glass of what looked like orange juice. "Want some?" Rick gestured to Lucele who was holding a tray with more drinks.
"Yes," I said getting up and grabbing a glass, "it's good to see you Lucele."
I said, sending her a smile, and taking a sip from my glass. "Oh, what is that?" I said not expecting the taste.
"Orange juice and Champagne." "Oooh," I said with a giggle taking another sip. "So what were you saying when you walked in?"
I looked up at him with a smile, "you still have your after game interviews. Usually we do them soon after the games, but we had to push them because of your injuries. Then we have to travel to the Districts."
Rick explained, taking a seat next to me. "The Districts?" "Yeah seriously Rick Isabella killed half of the tributes."
"I did it to survive Ledger." "I know, I'm not saying it like that, I'm just saying if that was me, I wouldn't wanna go to the Districts and say how sad I feel for their fallen people."
Ledger explained as I looked at my casted leg. "I'm not doing it." I said before the door slammed open and walked in a very upset looking Snow.
"You're doing it, you signed up for this when you won." Snow said walking over to us and standing before us.
"I didn't sign up for this! What you call winning, I call surviving!"
I yelled standing up so I was now face to face with him.
"Hey break it up." Rick says moving to stand between us, "move." Snow says bluntly pushing Rick away.
"You killed to survive, bravo." Snow said, while he slowly clapped his hands. "Well so do we, we take care of our own just like you do."
Snow said calmly, "oh," I said with a chuckle. "Now you care for the people of Panam.
Don't fucking lie to me, you don't care for any fucking body, unless you call caring, by throwing people in the games! I'm surprised you haven't thrown the Capitol people in, hell children!
"So when I tell you I'm not fucking going, I'm not going!"
I yelled, stepping closer to him. Now standing chest to chest.
Snow stared at my eyes, before taking a deep breath and speaking slowly. "I would never cause harm to the Capitol people." He said calmly. "Oh but the Districts children are okay? Every life you throw into the hunger games doesn't matter right?"
I said shoving his shoulder. "At this point you might as well send a baby in there, it would be an easy kill!"
I yelled, so angry that I was losing my breath. "I would never do that."
Snow said taking a step away from me, and walking away. "I thought we agreed not to lie." I told him causing him to turn around bluntly, and stride back to me.
"You know what I would! I would watch every second of those innocent children's hands get covered in blood."
He said before taking a step back and talking again. "There's the truth, we both know I'm not above killing children. But I am not wasteful, and god would that be a waste."
