"Come in!" Jovie called.
The door to Remus' office opened, Harry poking his head inside. He frowned, "oh I'm sorry, I thought I might find professor Remus here."
It had been nearly three weeks since school had been in session meaning Remus had been teaching Harry and the others for quite some time. Obviously he was given an office, which had slightly been taken over by Jovie.
Jovie sat up, tucking her blonde curls behind her ears, "Harry! What're you doing here?"
Harry faltered slightly, caught off guard by the woman's sunny disposition. It was slightly out of place at a school like Hogwarts, he wondered if that's what had drawn his parents to her.
To no answer Jovie continued, "aren't all the third years at Hogsmeade right now? You wouldn't want to miss out on that."
Harry nodded, "I wasn't allowed to go because I couldn't get my permission slip signed."
"Oh, I didn't know they do those now," the blonde frowned, though quickly perking back up, "I'll have a talk with McGonaGall about it, not to worry, she has a soft spot for me."
Harry smiled, "really? Thank you!"
"Of course," Jovina stood, making her way around the desk, "now let me help you find Remmy."

"Mum! Mum!"
Jovie turned, her daughter running towards her. Her brown hair was twisted into a messy bun, falling out as she ran, "Mum! There's something wrong!"
Jovie knelt, opening her arms, "what's wrong? And Cas you're too clumsy to be running around like-"
"It's dad! They're saying he's in the castle!"
The blonde's brows furrowed, "what?"
"Cassie!"
Remus ran over to the two, "we've been looking for you! You can't just run away without warning!" he scolded.
"Rem what's going on?"
The man frowned, "Come with me, Dumbledore has assigned us to watch the Gryffindors."
Which is how the two ended up seated on the floor of the grand hall, the tables having been moved as the ground was littered with sleeping bags and sleeping children. Jovie looked over to Remus, Casanova asleep on his lap, her face slumped into his chest.
Upon arriving to the hall she was informed that the fat lady had fled from her painting at the attack of someone who she identified as Sirius Black. Now the entire castle was on lock down as the teachers searched for him.
Jovie didn't know whether or not to believe it. Sirius didn't much seem like the type for sneak entrances, he always loved a show.
However it had been twelve years since they had seen each other, let alone even spoken to each other. She wondered if he was the same man she married.
Twisting her ring around her finger, she sighed, leaning her head onto Remus' shoulder.

"How're you feeling?" The blonde smiled, laying a cool washcloth across the man's forehead, "I brought you some tea."
Remus slowly pulled himself to a seat in his bed, smiling sluggishly, "you don't need to do this Jo, I can take care of myself."
"Shut up!" Jovie pushed him back down, "it's only fair, you've been helping me take care of Cassie so now I'm taking care of you."
It had come around to that time of the month, the time where Remus gets deathly sick for a week before being forced to break every bone in his body and turn into a werewolf.
Or that's how it used to be.
Five or six years ago the wizarding world made great advancements in medicine and now as long as he takes a supplement every day he won't transform, he still gets sick though.
"I'll be back in a few minutes, go back to sleep," the blonde instructed, standing.
Remus smiled, "what would I do without you?"
"Overwork yourself to death, probably."
