   "Sirius!"

   The man groaned, rolling over.

   "Sirius, oh my god! We're gonna be late!"

   Jovie sat up, Sirius' arm draped over her stomach as the woman panicked. She ran a hand through her hair, "breakfast! Cassie's birthday breakfast!"

   "What?" Sirius groaned, slowly pulling open his eyes.

   "It's Cassie's birthday!"

   Sirius shot up, "shit!"

   "Why'd I know this would happen?"

   The couple looked to the door of their bedroom, Remus standing there with two coffees in hand. He grinned, "have a good night?"

   Sirius narrowed his eyes at his best friend, "what'd I tell you about knocking?"

   Jovie grinned, "coffee? I love you."

   "Hey!" Sirius smacked her with a pillow.

   Remus handed the woman her mug, "all the stuff for the pancakes is ready downstairs. I already finished the bacon and eggs."

   "Perfect! You two finish up the decorations, I'll handle the pancakes."

   "Hey! Hey Cas," Harry shook the younger girl.

   The brunette groaned, shoving the boy away, "whatttt?"

   Harry grinned, "alright, keep sleeping. Guess you don't want this?"

   Cassie peaked an eye open, a grin lighting up her face at the sight of a gift bag in her brother's hands. Harry smiled at her reaction, "if you don't want it..."

   "No!" Cassie shot up, "I want it!"

   She took the gift from him, ripping the paper out of it. She gasped, her hands flying to her face at the sight of her birthday present. "Harry! I love it!"

   Harry smiled, "I knew you'd love it."

   The girl pulled out the hat that was an exact replica of her mother's. She was always stealing it, only to be scolded, so she was overjoyed to have one of her own.

   The girl pulled on her new hat, "how's it look?"

   "Perfect," Harry grinned, "ready for breakfast?"

   "Yup!" The little girl sprang from bed, the two making their way from her room and down stairs. At the bottom of stairs waited Remus, Sirius, and Jovie, the three adults smiling as they all wore birthday hats, no doubt forced by Jovie.

   "Happy birthday honey!" Jovie pulled Cassie into a hug.

   Sirius snapped a birthday hat on Harry's head, "if I have to wear one so do you."

   Remus placed a kiss on Cassie's forehead, "happy birthday star."

   She turned to her dad last, her grin widening.

   "Happy birthday Casanova," Sirius pulled her into a hug, "to many more."

   The family moved to the kitchen table, a stack of pancakes placed in front of Cassie with a candle in it. Remus quickly lit it with his wand, the family slowly breaking into song.

   Cassie was all smiles, blowing out her candles with only one wish in her mind.

   For her next birthday to be just like this one.
