Jeon Jungkook was ignoring Yumi.
He thought if he ignored her enough, she would realize what she was missing. Maybe it wasn't his brightest idea, maybe he didn't know why he thought he had to ignore her to get her attention, and maybe he didn't know what to do with himself when she stopped blowing up his phone after a while.
For lack of a better word, he felt empty, and he didn't like that. At all. Granted, he was still bent over his laptop finishing up the files his father sent over, but he could've taken a break to text her back.
After Namjoon knocked on his door to let him know she had been asking around for him, he felt an interesting amount of pride in being the man Yumi was asking for, even if it was for something as simple as a response.
She wasn't asking around for a response from Hooni, was she?
He smiled to himself once Namjoon left his room, and he felt quite pleased with his vague response of, 'I'm busy' and gesturing to his laptop, but now that his phone had gone silent, he didn't feel as pleased. In fact, he felt rather pathetic.
Yumi was his best friend, and he was ignoring her for what—jealousy? Hatred for her creepy boss?
He was slightly immature, he knew that, but he would like to think he wasn't at this level of immaturity. With that in mind, he pulled out his phone to text her.
