"So, you're the Mudblood who dare to make friends with Slytherin?" said the arrogant voice that belongs to Dolohov. She turned around and flinched after hearing the nickname. "I don't see it as your business to choose who I made friends with," she glared back at Dolohov and Avery that standing a few feet away from her. "It's our business now especially when a filthy blood like you involved. Stay away from Riddle and Malfoy", said Avery. "I don't take any order from people like you", Hermione snapped with feisty manner and held her chin high. "Shut your mouth, you little Mudblood!" warned Dolohov with his eyes glowered at her. "I think we should teach a  Mudblood some lesson. Don't you agree with me, Dolohov?" Avery said calmly. Dolohov smirked at Avery and said, "Some curses would perfectly a good reminder so she wouldn't forget her place". Avery raised his wand to attack Hermione but interrupted by a sharp voice behind them. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, Mr Avery", said the softest voice. They turned to where Professor Old Greybeard stood tall, wearing his oversized blue cloak with hat on top of his head. His expression was calm, but his words were sharp making the Slytherins stiffened. Professor Old Greybeard stepped closer toward them with his eyes still bored into them. "Perhaps you forgot the rules at Hogwarts. In here, you'll treat each other equally. Your arrogance is intolerable here", he said again. Hermione was relieved that the teacher stands up for her status as a Muggleborn and defenced her. The Slytherin lowered their head in humiliation. "Are you alright, Miss Granger?" he asked. "I'm fine, Professor", Hermione said softly. Professor Old Greybeard turned his head toward Avery and Dolohov. "Off to your bed now before I give you detention", he commanded again with sharp voice. Avery and Dolohov jumped in frightened and scampered away from the corridor. "Thank you, Professor", Hermione said again. He didn't reply back, only smiled warmly toward Hermione. He accompanied her to the Gryffindor common room. She didn't waste her time walking silently, instead she asked him about Morgan Le Fay. "It seems that this topic intrigued you badly". Hermione nodded with excitement. "I've studying about her since I was five, her theory about magic was..." she said. "I'll say that one day you'll face the greatest adventure in your life, Miss Granger". "I'm not sure about that. I don't know what kind of future I'll have one day". "You'll understand them once you grow up. Everyone has their purposed to live". "Professor, can I ask you some question about Morgan Le Fay?" "Go on". "You've said that Avalon was hidden from the world, how did King Arthur go to their world. I know he's the most powerful king in the history despite his Muggle heritage", Hermione asked. "He was brought to Avalon when he died. Arthur and Morgan were halfblood, born by same mother but different father. The legend has said that when Arthur died, Morgan took him to the Avalon. No one know how to find or entered the kingdom unless they were chosen by fae if they're one of their people", he said again. She just nodded with satisfaction of what she'd heard from the teacher. When they arrived at the entrance to the Gryffindor common room that was concealed under the portrait of the Fat Lady, Professor bid her goodnight. She entered the common room and straight to girl's dormitories. She quietly entered the room where there were four-posted beds that covered in red eiderdowns with red curtains, her bed was between the two windows. She climbs into her bed and goes to sleep. After some times, she was woken up when she heard a soft voice calling out her name. She slowly opened her eyelids and sat up, looking for her wand, only to find out she was not in her bed but in the forest floor where she could smell an earthy, woody and herbal aromas around her. It was so dark she couldn't see anything but the darkness. She slowly stands up and her feet began to walk toward the deep forest when she found a giant hawthorn tree that has its leaves sparkled the golden light so brightly, she could see other fruit trees a lot. Little by little, some of the unknown figures came closer over the hawthorn tree, riding their white horses and wearing white long dress. Their head were inlaid with wildflowers, barefoot, formed underneath their dresses. There were six young women gathered around the giant tree and playing... music, suddenly, she had this urge to join them and a strange feeling of being welcome by the crowd. 'Come to us, Your Highness. Don't be afraid. Come now..." Hermione drawn slowly on towards them, till at last she stood in the very midst of the people; but they kept silence, looking fixedly at her; she was nervous by them, she looked around her until her eyes found the giant hawthorn tree behind her. She jumped a little when she heard a voice inside her head saying, 'Welcome home, my queen'. She blinked in confusion and looked around to see who was talking. She heard a soft chuckle as if it was laughing at her. 'Your Highness, I was talking to you inside your mind', the voice said again. 'Where are you?' Who do you called a queen?' she asked, still confused but curious at the voice. 'I'm in front of you, Your Highness', it said again. Hermione realised no one was talking to her but looking at the giant tree in front of them. She narrowed her eyes again and frowned. "You're a tree!" she said it out loud, eyes wide opened, still in shocked at what she saw right in front of her. 'That's true, Your Highness. I'm a magical tree', the tree said again in excitement. 'Why are you kept calling me Your Highness? I think you must have mistaken me for someone else', Hermione said. 'That's when you're wrong, my dear queen. Oh no! Forgive my rudeness for not introducing myself to you first. My name is Huath. Every ruler of Avalon will come here for ceremony to crown them as a queen of fairies.' "Hang on! I seriously think you should stop talking right now. Me? A queen of fairies? You're joking". Hermione burst into laughing as if the tree was saying something silly. "No, Your Highness. Perhaps, I should show you The Family Trees of Fae", the tree said again. She stopped laughing when she saw a beautiful young fae raised her left arm in the air and by the sudden a massive, long roots grow out of forest floor in front of Hermione. There is a thick book lay opened that was being wrapped by the long roots. Hermione stepped back but stopped by Huath's voice. "It's time for you to know who you are", he said in soft voice. Hermione was still in shocked at what she just witnessed and clearly confused by his word. She stepped closer to the where the book still stands by the roots. Her eyes widen when she saw her name written in the Morgan Le Fay's tree family. Her great-great-ancestors were obviously not a pure Muggles but also the descendant of the legendary Morgan Le Fay. The next ruler of Avalon will be her. "There must be someone else that can be a queen of fae", she exclaimed in disbelief. "Your Highness, there is no other queen besides you, the crown will only passed down to Morgan's only descendant that chosen by Avalon", Huath explained it with more details. "But... I don't know how to be a queen. I'm just an ordinary witch came from Muggle parents", she said in small voice. "Of course, you are. Every ruler has their own way to rule their kingdom. Avalon's ruler will have their advisor, but in fairies' world, there is the only one advisor, Mithrandir. We will guide you along you along on how to be a queen", Huath said in cheerful voice. The crowd of fae bowed down and kneeled on the forest floor in front of Hermione as she turned her back on the tree to face the fae. The blonde fae put a beautiful wrought metal circlet, decorated with wildflowers, inlaid with little carnelian crystals and a huge rhinestone in the front on Hermione's head. She touched the crown with her fingers, immediately felt a strong magic rushed through her veins. She heard them whispering a vow by mentioning her name over and over again. "All hail to Queen Hermione!" They cheered loudly. She jumped when she heard a soft voice back in her mind saying, "There is something in your pocket, pull it out", Huath said in loud and clear voice. She shoved her hand into her pocket and found an unknown stone gem laid in her hand,"I want you to look after the stone as if you look after yourself", he said again. Hermione frowned in confusion. "What is this for?" she asked it out loud. "You'll figured it out later", that was the last thing she heard his words as she woken up from her dream and gasped loudly in the morning. She sat up in her bed, mind still full with disarray.
