"Lumos", whispered the soft voice in the dark night, pulling tightly her dark red cloak when she felt the air was too cold that making the girl shivering. Then, she realised she forgot she's a witch and then cast a warmth spell to herself. That girl was Hermione, never ever before she felt guilty for breaking the rule like this. Broke the curfew hours and sneaking into the Forbidden Forest by herself. She immediately regretted it by not telling the boys she just went to Forbidden Forest tonight because of the stupid fight, she even forgot to ask them if they already knew the culprit that sent the anonymous letter to her. She just remembered what kind of spell she should know to summon the other stone with wandless magic. She was grateful that the other fairies guided her how to cast the spell along with ancient incantations to summon the other stone because it was stolen by Grindelwald. The letter did mention what place she should go and saying that they know why she was chosen to be the protector of The Philosopher Stone. They will stop spreading the rumours about her bloodline and if she gives them the stone. She didn't particularly care about the rumours but she was already protective to protect Avalon because she had a responsibility as a Queen of Fae, if something happened to her kingdom, she would do anything to protect them. Ever since she knew she was chosen to be their Queen and spent sometimes discovered the fairies and who she was as a descendant and as a witch, she realised that her priority changed. She walked into the deep of the forest and a shadow with black cloak not far from where she was standing. She walked closer and shocked when she discovered who was standing in front of her. "Surprised to see me, Miss Granger?" Professor Abernathy lifted his cloak and revealed his face with sinister smile. "You're the one who sent the letter," Hermione asked while narrowed her eyes at the professor. From the very beginning, she always knew there was something off about Professor Abernathy and yet he looked familiar but she couldn't remembered or knowing the reason why. She knows that he never liked her not just any other Gryffindor. He always dismissed whenever she raised her hand to answer the question except for other students. There were few times when some of Slytherins like Avery and Lestrange said the slur names in front of her, he just stood there watching with amusement and not even deducted points or detention if his students bullied other students from other Houses. Every time he looked into her eyes, she felt like a cockroach that should be crushed beneath his boots. He knows she was still staring at him, so he circled her like a prey. " Do you wanted to know why I looked familiar to you, Miss Granger?" He slowly smiled eerily, white teeth showing, he looked like a predator stalking his prey right now. Hermione felt her heart beating faster but she didn't showed it, she didn't wanted to give him satisfaction. When she silent, he continued again. " Eight years ago, I visited a couple of Muggles with their four years old daughter. They're fun to play with. How's Mummy and Daddy doing now, hm?" His expression drastically changed from eerily gentleman into total psycho, taunting Hermione with painful memories on how her parents brutally murdered by dark wizards. Suddenly, a flash of memory come back to life in her mind. Hermione gasped loudly and blinking furiously when tears from her eyes wanting to dropped on her cheeks. It feels like someone had punched her in the stomach when the realization struck her head. It was Abernathy that killed her parents, spilled all her secrets to the public and making the Slytherin students to verbally bullied her nonstop. If it wasn't because of Tom and Draco that always protected her all the time in secret by silently hexing the Slytherins by wandless magic, she didn't think she could survived all of his evil schemes. "It was you behind all of these!" Hermione said loudly, voice raised. Abernathy still grinning like a maniac, just like he did before he killed her mother in front of her. "We meet again. It's been a long time, isn't it? Miss Granger," He said calmly. "Why would you do this?I didn't owe you anything," Hermione asked fiercely, there is a little bit fear but she also angry when she remembered how cruel it was for her when he tortured her family. Abernathy didn't speak for along time but he walked towards her slowly and started talking again. His boots clicked on the floor while his voice booming the entire place. "You're existed in a right time for a right reason, Miss Granger. You have something important that I wanted you to give it to me. And don't lied to me saying that you don't have it because I knew you have it, " He said again, looking straight into her eyes. Hermione tried to feigned innocently by acting dumb. "I don't have that stone with me," she tilted her head in deep frowned. "Don't act dumb, Miss Granger. You're too smart for having excuses", He said in low voice, eyes unblinking but his veins looks like it want to popped out from his skin. Clearly he was also naturally impatient with fury temper when someone knew how to hit the nerve. "Why do I want to lie to you when I know I was going to get killed by you for no reason. I don't have the stone with me", Hermione said with stubbornness. He snapped his fingers. Ropes sprang out of thin air and wrapped themselves tightly around Hermione. "Don't play with me, child. I ask again, where is the stone?" He gritted his teeth while looking down at her. Hermione was silent, stubbornly ignored him while she was struggled against the ropes binding her, but she didn't give up. She silently using the spells to untie the binding. "Well, you're stubborn little one, don't you?" He asked again. His question was left unanswered, all he heard was a long silence. He pulled out his wand and conjured a red spark into the sky. Suddenly, there was a big cloud appeared in the sky right after the red spark being shoot in the sky. A straight light came out from the cloud like a laser and it landed on the forest floor. A middle aged man with light blond hair, thin white mustache came out from the light. He walked closer towards Abernathy and Hermione, his blue eyes staring straight into Hermione's. "I see you've got the girl here, did she gives you the stone?" The light blonde man asked Abernathy. "No master. She said she doesn't have it. That little brat here refused to-" "Stop complaining, Abernathy. With the attitude like that doesn't get you nowhere else. I gave you a simple task, you couldn't even finished it alone", He raised his hand in front of Abernathy as he was tired of hearing his follower complaining about a child. Complaining is only for weakest, apparently Abernathy can't be as useful as he used to be. The man walked closer towards Hermione and looking down at her under his nose. "I could spared your life if you gives me the stone. We'll not bothered you again if you choose to compromise tonight", he tempting her with promises but Hermione knew better than that, he thought he could bribed her like a child but she was much more smarter to fell into an useless bribe like that. She'd rather died than giving them any satisfaction. "No. I would never gives you the stone", Hermione said with bravery. Suddenly, she felt a slight prickling sensation as if someone tried to invaded her mind inside. It's making a headache and a bit uncomfortable. But then, she saw something behind the bushes, she pretended not seeing anything or else the man and Abernathy blow off the cover. Tom and Draco were planning to save Hermione from Grindelwald and his follower but they'll get killed if they attack too quickly. They knew something was going to happen, their instinct says they should look after Hermione tonight. They heard Avery talking to Lestrange that Abernathy tricked Hermione to come alone to Forbidden Forest, Tom and Draco immediately went after Abernathy when they saw him waiting for Hermione. They hide behind the bushes and observing the scene. They tried to think on how to approach Hermione without being noticed by Grindelwald. Tom communicating with Draco through their minds. Unconsciously, Abernathy was being controlled by Tom. He commanded Abernathy mind to try distracted Grindelwald away from Hermione. "Master, I know where to find the stone now. It's better if you followed me now", Abernathy said calmly. "I thought you said she doesn't have it. Are you trying to playing around here?" Grindelwald raised his eyebrows in suspicious. Hermione was relieved both of the wizards away from her. She saw Draco quickly walking towards her and dragged her away from that place while he placed The Disillusionment Charm around them. When Hermione and Draco arrived at the end of the Forbidden Forest, they almost got hit by unknown red sparks behind them.
