Chapter 2

Four years passed quickly for Hermione and Tom to grow up. Now they were five years old children which were grew up by the beautiful adolescent figure on them. They are really smart on their own ages,quick leaner and thinking. But,they grown up in a wrong time which is there was a war started between dark wizard and light wizard. The war caused many muggles died horribly in their world. Luckily for the Orphanage Wool's had prepared to hide themselves from any attack that can killed children in this war. The news wildly spread amongst of the muggles about the dark wizard will come to destroy them many times. The Granger's family have to hide themselves from the attacks. Unfortunately,one of the dark Lord's follower had sensed any magic on Hermione and they tried to kill them. They ran and ran again until they were exhausted to hide from the wizards. At this time,the dark Lord's follower will destroyed muggles especially when they born with any magic on their body. Death were everywhere around them, it makes Hermione scared to went outside from their hidden place. The night was fallen into the sky and luring the darkness around the world,in a wood cabin there was a woman who singing a lullaby song to her daughter, Hermione Granger. The little girl laid with her mother listened any lyrics of song that her mother sang to her . Her mother whispered the calm words to the little girl and combed her curly hair carefully."It's alright sweetheart,no one will harm you. Remember Hermione, we're born to be strong person in this world. Never fear to the darkness and remember there's always love to hold you up"‚ her mother cupped Hermione's face and stared her with strong love emotions in the dark brown eyes. The little girl lifted up her mouth and said "where's dad?"her eyes grossy with fear when she talked to her mother. The older woman cannot muttered any words from her mouth because in the deep heart,she know she cannot tell her daughter that her heart husband was dead when he tried to save them while their child was sleeping under mother's held. She bitterly smile to her daughter and run her fingers on the tiny curly hair on her daughter's head . "I'm sorry sweetheart, I wish I could tell you...." By the sudden the noise of sobs escaped from her mouth with the tear running from her cheeks. It was really hard for them to lost someone that really important in their life had gone forever. Both of them walked to the bedroom and turned off the light out. Suddenly,there were the loud crack and the voices from their bedroom. It happens quickly,the mother tried to save her daughter from the attacks but it got worse and they continued to torture them until dead kiss upon their breath. In the room, Hermione stared with wide eyes when the blood of her mother were everywhere in the room. Before they slides her throat,her mouth twisted to say " stay strong, Hermione." Then she died in front of her only child who left pretty broken when both of her parents died because of darkness. The killer of her parents smiled crazily when they turned to face her. Hermione was terrified of them. They started to bruised her badly until she bleed easily on her head and lips. She was too tired to scream and stumbled into dark.
When she wake up,she heard the voices from her ears. She slowly opened her eyes and saw a man and a woman quietly chatting in front of her. She started to panicked but she didn't scream or voices out but she just stared on them fearly. She remembered everything that happened to her..the war, escaped, death,killer and blood everywhere. She cried quietly because she afraid the adults started to notice and then killed her again. They did noticed the broken little girl cried in front of them but the man walked towards her and comfort her with hug. Hermione slowly stopped crying and stared brokenly her hands. A woman who chat with the man earlier just stared sharply at her. "Alright...If you insist to put this girl in this orphanage house of mine.. I need a deal from you, Ashford"‚ growled the woman to the man who still held Hermione. The man just nodded to her. After healed her greatly in two days,they started to explained everything to her so that she knew to prepared herself in her new life as an orphan who lost her family like the rest are of the children. At first she stubbornly not to agree but after a lot of forced,she dropped her head down and nodded to agree with the adoption things. She packed her stuffs and walked behind a woman who looked arrogant to her. After an hour,they finally arrived at the Orphanage Wool's door. The woman opened the door and let the little girl entered the place with her. "This is Orphanage Wool's which is mine to be the owner this place. You call me Mrs Cole and in this place,you need to be a good girl or worse you'll be punish. Do you understand the rules, girl?" The woman asked Hermione with a sharp tone in her voice. Hermione knew this woman is not a type of woman who know loves in life.Because she doesn't want to make it worse, Hermione just nodded to the woman."Good,now let me take you to your new room‚"said Mrs Cole.Hermione quietly listened to her and started to follow the woman out of the room.The walk was silent, Hermione glanced nervously around constantly to ensure herself safe in that orphanage.Mrs Cole quickened her steps without waiting for Hermione who was almost running behind her back.When they both entered the room, Hermione's eyes were widened to see the condition of the room.It was dark and also cold.As she get lost in her thought,she was startled by the harsh voice in the room."Who are you?"asked Tom Riddle who was sitting on his bed.Hermione jumped and turned her head to see the speaker.Then she saw a boy with dark raven hair and stared into his eyes.Something is wrong with that boy,his behavior was quite rude and looked creepy at the same time."I'm..um.. Hermione Granger,your new roommate",said the nervous girl." A roommate?"Tom was interrupted by Mrs Cole quickly."Tom,this is your new roommate, Hermione Granger.I have to remind both of you here.I don't want to hear any trouble from you,Tom.Make sure you'll tolerate your new roommate here.You should learn how to respect people so I don't have to settle the stupid things you always do,Tom.So, I must go right now,"Mrs Cole shutted the door quietly before any of the toddlers speaked up for their opinions to the woman.Nothing Hermione can do since her new life is an orphan now,she knew that she have to follow the rules and nothing can be the same when she lost both of your parents.She sighed sadly and turned her face to Tom. "What is you full name?"asked Hermione with a curious question.Tom narrowed his eyes towards her and said nothing.He turned around his back towards Hermione and lay on his bed."Don't disturb me",Tom whispered quietly so that she can heard him clearly.Hermione felt a little bit disappointed when she failed to make a friend for the first time.She walked towards her bed and settled herself tried to sleep.Maybe next day will be her new day to start her new life.
