It turns out Malfoy had broken his arm. You could hear him from the Slytherin table. "I consider myself lucky, just uh one more minute or two, and I would have died." He said.
You had Potions class, you sat with Hermione.
"We will be making a Potion with a partner." Snape said. You and Hermione looked at each other smiling.
"I will be choosing your partners." Snape said coldly.
You frowned.
"Hermione and Neville."
"Y/n and Draco." You looked over at Malfoy to see him smirking at you.
"Hes probably going to make me do all the work." You said. "You may find your partner now." Everyone got up and sat with their partner.
Draco got up and sat next to you rolling his eyes.
"So you get the ingredients, and I'll make the potion." You said
"I don't want to." Draco said firmly.
"You need to or else we will both fail!" You demanded.
Draco Crossed his arms.
"You do all the work, or else my father will be hearing about this."
"Fine. Daddy's boy." You mumbled.
Draco raised an eyebrow.
"What." He said.
"I said you're a daddy's boy." You said getting up. Draco grabbed your arm tightly causing you to say ow.
"Let go Malfoy!" You spat.
"No!" He said.
"All you'll ever be is a mud-bloods best friend! Nothing more!" He yelled.
"How dare you!" You said.
Everyone in the class began to look at you two.
"Leave her alone Malfoy!" Harry said.
Snape began to walk to you two.
He gave Malfoy a look and he let your arm go.
"Malfoy. Y/n see me after class." Snape said cold.
You both nodded.
After class you and Malfoy walked to snapes desk.
"I am very disappointed in you Miss L/n and I am especially disappointed in you Mister Malfoy."
"In return for your behavior, I will give you each detention. After classes, you two will come clean the class." Snape said.
"Fine.." You said walking back.
You caught up with Hermione before your detention.
"Can you believe it!? I have detention with Malfoy!!" You said annoyed.
"Gosh, I'm sorry Y/n!" Hermione said.
You looked at the clock.
"I gotta go to detention now! Sorry Hermione! I'll see you later!" You said then rushing to snapes classroom.
