"Yes mum, ill write to you atleast every 2 weeks." I say to my mother as I hugged her tightly. "And please don't feel bad about Cedric all year." Mum whispered in my ear. "I'll try." I say back, pulling away from her hug. "Love you honey." She said smiling. "Enjoy, and please study extra hard- Owls are this year." She laughed. "I will mum, now bye!" I said waving goodbye and hopping on the hogwarts express. "L/n!" A voice shouted. "What do you want Malfoy." I spit.
"Don't fall in love with me this year."
"Oh trust me, I won't." I said walking away to my friends. Draco scoffed and walked away.
I then find the trio sitting down in a compartment. I slid open the door. "Hey guys, how was your break?" I ask as I sit down next to Hermione.
"Oh, good!" They all said in unison.
"Weird." I think.
Hermione whispers something to Ron and Ron whispers something to Harry.
"I guess we should." Harry whispers a little to loud. "So, Y/n.." Hermione starts.
"So...It's called the Order of the Phoenix?" I ask. The trio had just explained the order to me. "Thank you guys for trusting me about me- it means alot." I say smiling. "Mhm, of course!" Hermione smiled back.
You were now in the great hall, one of the first things you noticed when you walked in is that a toad like lady in a bright pink cardigan, she had a pink bow on her short brunette hair.
I sat down next to Ginny and Hermione. Dumbledore was doing his regular speak. "Please welcome your new defense against the dark arts teacher, Professor Umbridge!" She stands up, smiling just like Lockheart did. "I can tell she's going to be full of herself." I whisper to Hermione. "Yeah maybe, but don't judge her that quickly who knows, maybe she'll be great." She whispers back. "Now-" Dumbledore starts but then the toad lady interrupts him, she's already walking up near Dumbledore. "Ah, thank you headmaster for giving me such kind words of welcome, how lovely it is to see your bright happy faces smiling up at me. " She giggles. I look around the great hall, no one is smiling, except Flinch. I bet that crazy cat man fancies Umbridge. "Im sure we are going to be very good friends." She smiles. "That's likely" Says the twins. A few people giggle. Umbridge then talks about the mistery of magic.
"Uh, Thank you Professor." Dumbledore Mumbles.
"Crazy that one is." Says Ron. I laugh, Dumbledore then ends his speech, I then reach for some roasted potatoes "Man this feast looks tasty!" Ron picks his lips. "Tell me a moment when you aren't hungry Ronald." Hermione rolls her eyes. Me and Ginny burst out laughing.
"Oh do they ever shut up." Malfoy says to loudly, my friend group looks over at the Slytherin table behind us.
"Oh bloody hell, leave us alone." I say.
"Make me." He Smirks. I sigh and turn my face away from him, the last thing I want to do is be staring at Malfoy.
