*TIME SKIP - COUPLE MONTHS*
It was now the last month of the school year, Everything seemed perfect. (Besides the fact that Malfoy was still picking on you) The trio seemed more inclusive now that you and Malfoy broken up. And not to mention you and Cedric were the schools top couple.
"Y/n is so lucky to have Cedric!"
"I wish that was me."
Is what you heard as you walked out your class. "Harry, aren't you nervous for tomorrow?" Hermione asked Harry, referring to the third and final task. "Oh, um, yeah I'm super nervous." He said. "Cedrics been freaking out about the task." You laughed. "So y/n, who are you going to root for?" Ron asked.
"I dunno, I'm rooting for both Cedric and Harry. I'll be glad if either of you do end up winning!"
"Well, me and Hermione are both rooting for Harry, but we also support Cedric."
"I also wouldn't mind if Krum won!" Hermione giggled. Ron rolled his eyes.
"W-well..I wouldn't mind if Fleur ends up winning!" Ron blurted out in an attempt to make Hermione jealous, but ended up just laughing.
*The day of the task*
"Y/n get up! We're suppose to meet Ginny on Quidditch pitch in 10 minutes!"
"OH SHOOT!" You yelled as you got up and threw on navy blue button up shirt and sweat pants. You quickly threw your hair in a ponytail and put on some mascara and lip gloss. "K, ready!" You yelled.
"Okay, c'mon!" Hermione said, as you two walked down to the Quidditch pitch. "Oh, there's Ginny!" You pointed out.
"Hey Gin!" Hermione smiled.
"Hey guys!" Ginny giggled.
"I'll be back, I have to talk to Cedric!" You said. "Okay, well wait for you up there" Hermione pointed up to a spot in the Quidditch stands.
You walked around until you found Cedric. He looked stressed out.
"Hey, Ced, you nervous?" You softly said. "Oh, Y/n you scared me!" He giggled slowly. "Yeah, I'm definitely nervous." He said, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. "Don't worry, I know you're going to do great." You gave him a sweet kiss on the lips. Draco was watching from the stands, he looked jealous and annoyed.
"I love you Y/n." He smiled. "Me to!" You said, then giving him another kiss on the cheek. "I gotta go, see you later babe." You said. "Bye N/n!" He called out.
You waited patiently until Dumbledore let the contestants onto the maze. You waved to Cedric and he waved back, then he disappeared into the maze. Little did you know that was the last time that you would see Cedric..
"HELP, HE'S BACK- VOLDEMORT!" Harry brusted out sobbing. "W-whats happening!?" You said. "I dunno.." Ginny said confused. "W-wait..is that Cedric- is- is he passed out?.." You asked. "Oh Y/n I'm so sorry!" Hermione said hugging you. Ginny joined in."N-no..no NO! He can't be dead- he CAN'T BE!" You yelled. "Oh gosh..." You cried. "Please..." you mumbled. You then ran down the stairs. "Y/N- NO WAIT!" Hermione shouted but you didn't care. "CEDRIC!" You yelled. You leaned next to Harry. "Harry- w-what happend..t-to him.. " you said. "I-ill explain after.." Harry said. You coutined to cry, your hands cupping cedrics face.
After everything was sorted out, you slowly walked back to your dorm, Hermione and Ginnys arms were around you. "Its going to be okay Y/n."
Then you saw Draco. He mouthed to you; "Meet me at our spot." Then he disappeared into a hallway.
"Uh, i-ill be back...I gotta use the bathroom.." You lied. "Okay, we'll be at the dorm." Hermione said.
"Poor Y/n..she's probably crying her eyes out in the bathroom" Said Ginny
"Y/n, Are..you okay.." Draco said. You slid down the tree and sat down, you sat down. He sat next to you.
"My fucking boyfriend
just died! I saw his body and everything!! But yeah, sure I'm okay, specular actually!" You sarcastically said. "Oh God, Y/n..I'm sorry."
"I-its fine." Draco then moved closer to you. You leaned your head on his shoulder. You countied to cry. "I-im going to go now.." you said getting up. "Y/n- wait." Draco then grabbed your hand and cupped your face and gently kissed you. "Goodnight." Draco said. "Uh, yeah..thanks." You put your hand on lips shocked. "B-bye!" You said as you walked up the hill. You blushed but then you then you felt guilty. "I kissed Draco...." You thought as you plopped on your bed.
