The Sangeet celebration ended with full swing of desi bollywood music, laughter and dance.
There are only four days left for their Grand wedding. But as said, no happy things go smoothly and the same happened at the next night after the Sangeet.
“What?!” Aravi tenses up, her voice surely telling that she was nervous.
“Yes Aravi.. I'm sorry but...”
“Why the hell are you mumbling?!! Speak for damn sake..!” Ahana lashes out on the call.
“Ahana, Aravi, Rayan is missing.”
“What?”
“ I'm serious. I am not kidding he is not in his bedroom...” Yash tells firmly.
“Toh office mein hongey na...” Aravi tells but it was more of her asking him if otherwise he's in office or not.
“He has not returned from yesterday night. And I personally visited the office, I checked every corner he wasn't there too”
Yash hung up the call, and Aravi felt anxious and tensed worrying about the whereabouts of Rayan.
“Aravi sab theek ho jaayega." Ahana tried to comfort her but she can't calm herself down.
Can she?
She rushed to the downstairs and stopped looking everyone so happy and enjoying themselves.
Each corner was adorned with flowers, lights. Some men adjusting the lights and making the venue ready for the wedding night, reminding her that it's her wedding with him and He's missing.
She dialled his number.
"The number you are trying to reach is currently unavailable."
She dialled his number again and repeated calling him but his number was still unreachable.
She was nervous and more like confused.
Confusion turned into anger, anger into heartbreak. Had he abandoned her? Had all his promises been hollow? She could feel whispers crawling on her ears—some claimed he’d run away, others speculated cold feet.
Determined to find him, She with the help of Ahana tracked his last known location.
Luckily his GPS was on and the location he's showed up. It was a hotel. Mathur's Hotel.
The same hotel, they first encountered.
Yash, Ahana and Aravi drove to the hotel suite. Checked his room in the reception.
And there was he.
Rayan Mathur, disheveled, sitting on the edge of the bed folding some woman's clothes.
Three of them were shocked and stood stiff on their ground.
Aravi's breath hitched. The ache of betrayal sunk deep into her bones.
"Unbelievable," she muttered. "You vanished without a word, and THIS is where you were?"
Rayan looked up, startled by her presence. His face was worn with hurt, fear flickering in his eyes.
“It’s not what you think—”
“I think you abandoned me to be with someone else,” she snapped, voice laced with venom.
“This not done Rayan Dada!” Yash called out.
Yash left with Ahana leaving Aravi alone with him.
Rayan stood up and started walking towards her. “You don't trust me?"
He asked but she didn't replied. Her tears flowing down her cheeks and he got his answer.
“You fucking don't trust me Miss Aravi Roy!”
He said coldly.
“If you don't trust me, I don't have anything to explain. You can break off this relation.”
