“Mr Rayan if you weren't there, I think I really can't control myself murdering that pervert Akash! Thank you!”

“Hey is he your Ex?” Rayan asks curiously.
No, No.. actually he was the blind date who drugged me that night for improper intentions....”

“Oh I see.. he was the main culprit we ended up doing improper things we shouldn't do right?”

Aravi smiles awkwardly because it was actually awkward remembering the awkward night.

“ Don't think too much..It was just a unintentional hit. Nothing else.”

“Hey Won't you come inside? It's okay I won't  disturb you as I have already reached home you should also reach your home at time or otherwise your mom..” She stopped as maybe she realised what  he feels whenever he hears the word mom.

“ I'm sorry.. I really didn't mean it.” She A
apologizes and walked to her house.

While he watched her walking inside her home. While he was still in his thoughts about Mrs Barsha Marthur.

“Hello? Ahana.. it was you right who helped him to come to me..?” Aravi asks her over the phone.

“ And guess what he even blackmailed me to help him..”

“What? Blackmail? What did he tell you..?” Aravi asks.

Ahana tells her everything Rayan said to her.  “I think he isn't that bad Aravi.. So you two became friends?”

As Ahana asked her, her lips quivered into a smile as she recalled how he helped her from Akash and how he apologized.

“Aravi? Well since I had resigned from the job, I sent my resumes to few other companies. And some of them have accepted me. So I will be out of town for a few days. Take care.. Bye.. Good night. ” Ahana quickly cuts her phone before letting Aravi to reply to her.

Meanwhile Aravi felt something wrong with Ahana. She looked worried from few days, she remembered she also cried that day. Though Aravi shared everything the reason was for her unhappiness, but she didn't got her reason till now.

“I hope everything happens good for my bestfriend God.. please protect her.”

Aravi prayed to God and went downstairs as her mother was calling her for dinner.

Rayan was standing outside his balcony. He needed some fresh air to refresh himself as the memories he spent with his mother still make his eyes filled with tears.

“ Aap kyu chali gayi maa? Why you did this to me? Anyhow I try to divert my mind, you come infront of me. You know I hate you for not coming back to me, to my dad who still loves you , why?”

“She has some secrets son! She has her own reasons why she left. ” His dad Mr Marthur came and shouldered his son. “Infact you will respect her for what she is doing if you know right now. And probably this is the best reason I love her”

Rayan looked at his dad who had a proud smile on his lips.

“ I don't agree! No matter what reason, she should always stay with her family.” Rayan debated with Mr Marthur.

“Look... I really don't have any guts to disobey her but don't overthink just sleep tight and have sweet dreams beta..Dad loves you..” He kissed his forehead and left him.

“No wonder why love makes people blindly trust someone after being broken ” He sighs and lies on his bed.

He started scrolling his logs when his eyes stopped at the name ‘Aravi’ . Suddenly his finger tapped the name and it started ringing. He tried to end the call but his phone was hanging and this failed to cut the call before she holds it.

“Hello? I'm Aravi speaking.. ” Aravi speaks from the other side of the call.

“Wow.. her voice is so sweet it seems like she hates me only. She talks so fiercely with me” He thought.

“Hello.. hello!”

“Yaa.  Miss Aravi right? I'm Rayan..” “Rayan?”

“Rayan?” Rayan surprised by the tone she pronounced his name as if she didn't knew him.

“Sorry?” Aravi feels weird hearing the person blabbering.

“So sorry it's wrong number..” He quickly ends up the call and walked to his mirror.

He looked at himself and started to laugh at his own state. “Wow! I can't believe this is the Rayan Marthur who makes everyone afraid of him is now afraid of that Miss Writer.”

He then quietly went to his bed for sleep.

He looked at the file where she gave the draft of her story Miss Glasses. He took it out and started reading.

Sometimes it's the people whom we misunderstood and never care them.
Even if they try to apologize, we push them away intentionally hurting them.
That's how I did with Miss Glasses.
Miss Glasses is none other than my own bestfriend . She proposed me and I rejected. And after I accepted my feelings, I proposed and she happily accepted. But things don't last forever. I who have trust issues got involved in the church activities and then what I saw made me misunderstand her.
She apologized me both directly and directly but I refused. I refused to believe her. I hated her for just a misunderstanding.
My hatred towards her was so pure that she refused to live. She killed herself.

Rayan ended reading the summary which was so relatable to him. He then realised it was him who made his mother never come back in his life. He recalled how many times she came to him but he pushed her away the every time. Never he thought he would think about his mother like this but he gulped in fear what if she hurt herself because of him? What if she stop trying to come back to his life? He didn't even asked about the reason and already judging her.

He never knew that why his dad loves her that much. He too never tried to reconcile things with his mother? He doubts himself that is he truly mature person or not?

A single summary of a random story changed his perception. And now when his perception changed, will be really able to pull his mother close in his life again?

He remembered how her grandmother said him, “A day will come son, when you will realise how much people do hard work for their survival they even had to leave their family, sacrifice everything just to survive. And how to leave all the luxuries, sacrifice family just to make the country safe?”

“Do I really know my mom? What she did was wrong but for what reason she did it still unknown.. I need to learn her.” He sighs and as all the lights turned off, he closed his eyes and soon sleep engulfed him.
