After reaching home, Aravi thought to share her feelings with Ahana but least she knew
that for the very first time, her best friend
would do the most unexpected thing
which would leave her speechless.
"Mumma, I'm home!" As soon as she enters, her mother stuffs a morsel of kheer into her mouth.. "Uff.. what is this maa?" She tried to gulp the forced morsel.
"I thought you know already!" She furrows
her brows.
"Spill it.. what's the good news?" Aravi sits on the sofa keeping her bag aside.
"Arey Beta woh a---" Mr Roy was just completing his sentence, his wife stopped him. She used her smart brain and decided to not tell her as she thought maybe it would be a surprise for her.
"What happened to both of you all acting weird today!" She says while filling her glass with water.
"Chup kyu ho bataiye.." She lifts the glass and took the sip of water. "Kuch nahi bas aajkal tum aur woh.. woh kaun Rayan Babu.. bohot ghumte ho..kuch chakkar chal raha hai kya?" And within no seconds, she spilled the water out choking at the words her mother spilled just now.
"Arrey? Kya hua.."
"Maa. Aap... Bohot... weird..ho!" She rubs her nose.
"Woh toh Hain!" Her father sighs with a grin but soon concealed it after his wife's glares at him.
"No I mean its our right beta.. wese Mr Rayan Mathur and you are a perfect match. He is a gentleman and I saw a spark between you two.. so if something happens please don't hesitate to share with us."
Mr Roy caresses her hair and went to his room.
"Baba is right beta.. agar kuch baat hai toh batana zaroor. Kuch Kuch cheezen esi hoti hain agar der ho jaye toh humesha ke liye kho jata hai, usko milna namumkin ho jata hai.."
Aravi looked at her mother. As Mrs Roy stood up, she understood what her daughter wants.
"And yes.. my princess.. get ready we are going for a dinner date at Ahana's home."
Saying this, she leaves Aravi who was still processing the words she told.
"Time has come Aravi..main unko apni feelings ke baare mein sab bata dungi."
She took a deep breath and stands up and went to her room to get ready.
She took out a black chiffon saree and draped it with sleeveless white blouse.
With her eyes underlined with black kohl,
and her lips being painted with nude lipstick.
With silver bangles she groomed herself within minutes and got ready.
Soon they got into the cab to Miss Ahana's residence.
As when Aravi entered, she was shocked about the revelation about the purpose of the dinner.
"What do you mean by this.. you didn't tell me about this?" She asked pinching the peach skirt of the person standing infront.
"Ahana!! This isn't you!! If you are not comfortable you would not need to wear this."
"Am I looking that ugly?"
