Aries walked into the condominium, lugging the two large suitcases behind him. Gemini walked into the condominium, carrying a couple of food containers. Monoceros and Cetus gave food to the young couple as an apology for Phoenix's immature behavior. Aries chuckled. He was glad that Gemini gave his father a reality check. He was glad to see the punch that caused Libra to have a bloody nose. His fiancé always had a fiery spirit.
Gemini set the bag of food on the counter. He let out a scream when Aries picked him up. He gasped as grabbed Aries's shoulders. He looked down at his fiancé with shock, wondering what Aries was up to. He smiled when he saw the love and compassion in Aries's golden eyes. Aries's golden eyes were warm and caring unlike his father's ferocious and intimidating golden eyes. He walked to the couch and set Gemini down. Gemini hummed.
"Hubby, what are you doing?" He asked. No answers. Aries was completely silent. He walked to the closet that was in the foyer, and he slid open the door. Inside the closet was full of cleaning supplies but also neatly folded blankets and pillows. He grabbed out a bunch of quilt blankets and soft pillows. He walked back to the couch and buried Gemini in the blankets. He fluffed the pillow and set it on the arm of the couch. Gemini giggled as he laid down, placing his head on the soft but firm pillow. He wondered what Aries was up to.
Aries smiled gently and kissed Gemini's cheek. "My darling deserves a reward," he whispered. "You did such a good job dealing with my father." Gemini giggled. When he punched Phoenix, he was scared. He hugged himself and puckered his lips, asking for a kiss. Aries chuckled and kissed Gemini on the lips. He was going to make Gemini a delicious dinner and cuddle him. Gemini hummed happily. Aries pulled away. "Take a nap. I'm sure you're exhausted from the drive."
"Okay," Gemini whispered. He closed his eyes. Being pregnant, Gemini was more tired than usual. He found it easier to nap and fall asleep throughout the day, but then he would grow restless and have night terrors. Aries kissed Gemini's cheek. He stood up and walked to the kitchen. He looked at the bag and chuckled. He looked over at Gemini. Gemini looked adorable bundled up in his sweater and the blankets. He was sleeping peacefully.
Gemini sniffled. He slowly opened his eyes. The smell of seafood filled the room, and he sat up. He looked at the kitchen, and Aries was putting a pan of baked lobster rolls onto the kitchen island. Gemini smiled happily. He got off the bed and walked toward the counter, rubbing his stomach. He looked back at the window, and it was night out. "Hubby," he yawned. "How long have I been out?"
Aries hummed. "Oh about four hours," he answered. "Our darling babies are really causing trouble for their mommy." Gemini giggled and walked around the island. He cupped Aries's cheek and kissed him in the lips. Aries kissed back. He heard bubbling from behind him, and he pulled away. "Ah, the main course is ready." Gemini hummed and looked over at the stove. He giggled as Aries guided him to the stove. There was a green skillet on the stove. Aries took off the lid, greeted by a puff of hot air. He made scalloped potatoes covered in a homemade lobster sauce with cheese. Gemini could feel his mouth salivating.
"Oh, hubby," he gasped. "This is too much."
"Well, I want you to be full and happy. Tonight, we'll be watching movies and drinking hot chocolate," Aries chuckled. Gemini squealed with joy and kissed Aries's cheek. He was glad that Aries was doing everything for him, but he couldn't help but feel guilty for being so dependent on him. He rubbed his stomach slowly and looked up at Aries. Aries smiled softly. Well, Aries was being thoughtful, and Gemini wanted to use Aries's new found kindness to his advantage. He smiled softly.
"Oh, hubby, this is amazing," he whispered. He looked at the scalloped potatoes. "But I think I'm a little too dependent on you."
