A/N: Please bear with me. I am going completely off memory for the last chapter and this one. I know lunch is after CoMC and that DADA is after lunch according to the movie. I've been trying to find a timetable for classes for third year, like I had for first year, but that has proven difficult if not impossible. So, DADA will be first thing after breakfast for this book. I'm sorry if that doesn't sit right with you, I just don't feel like doing a complete and massive rewrite of the last chapter, because I was extremely happy with it.

I woke up to the world being entirely too bright and someone shaking my face. The light shaking turned into patting my cheeks. I groaned lightly before opening my eyes. I winced as the light pierced my eyes.
"Ally? Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'll be fine, Cassi."
"Okay, well, Hagrid is waiting for us to get to class."
"Okay."
I stood up, with her help, and walked over to the mirrors. I fixed my hair and my uniform. Once I was presentable again, we walked to Hagrid's hut. It was the first class of the year, but knowing Hagrid it was going to be amazing. Hagrid was made for the Care of Magical Creatures class. Every time you turn around, he has a new magical creature. Harry told me that when he was a first year, Hagrid had somehow gotten a dragon egg, and hatched it himself.
We were trailing behind the last few students headed that way. We weren't exactly going to be late, but we definitely weren't as early as I would have liked. We walked up to the group of students, hanging out by the back of the group. I couldn't hear exactly what Hagrid was saying, but eventually the group started walking into the forest.
"Alright, less chattering you lot. Form a group over there. And open your books to page forty-nine."
I look around and see everyone struggling with their monster books. I rolled my eyes and just stroked the spine. Seconds later my book just falls right open. I look over and see Draco struggling. I chuckled to myself before walking over to him.
"Love, stroke the spine. Preferably with the grain of the hair." I whispered in his ear.
He shivered a bit but did as I told him to do. His book settled and fell open soon after he did so. I smiled and patted his back. Neville opened his book without stroking the spine and fell to the ground as it attacked him. Several students laughed and walked around him. I continued walking beside Draco, and Cassilynn came up beside us.
"Poor sod. Couldn't even listen to simple instruction."
"What? No one told us how to open the book."
"Ally, while you were over doing whatever that was with Draco, someone asked and Hagrid told us what to do."
"Oh, well I didn't hear it. I wouldn't have known had I not used my free time at the Leaky Cauldron getting familiar with the book."
She just shrugged and we kept walking, until we met up with Draco's goons. Draco leaned against the stone wall and got out an apple. He took a bite, but tossed it aside when he saw Harry, Ron and Hermione walk past.
"I think they're funny."
"Oh, yeah. Terribly funny. God, this place has gone to the dogs. Just wait til my father hears Dumbledore has this oaf teaching classes."
"Draco, please. Don't antagonise anyone. Let's just get the class done so we can get to our free period." I whispered sharply.
"Shut up, Malfoy."
