*Insert the drool-worthy Conrad (Kong: Skull Island) Hiddleston ;)*

In front of you, now stands Loki, but...not Loki. His eyes are the same, but that's where the resemblance ends. He now has considerably shorter hair, auburn in color, while wearing a very fitted (but you're not looking of course) t-shirt and jeans, "If you'll excuse us for a second." You yank Loki away, "What the HELL do you think you're doing?!"

Loki rolls his shoulders, "Well, I WAS being polite and introducing myself."

"Your name is not Conrad," you say at a loud whisper.

"So I take it that these people know YOUR real name?" he tilts his head with a grinning, narrowing of his eyes.

"That's..." you wet your lips.

The corner of Loki's mouth turns up into a grin now as well.

"Not important," you turn Loki back in the direction of your ship. "You're going back on my ship."

You try to move him, but he pushes back, "Oh come now, this will be fun."

"For who?" you try pushing again but give up and scoff.

"Me," Loki winks. "Most importantly."

"I guess you changed appearance but not personality. What a shame," you start to walk back to Mason, leaving Loki behind you.

"Why do you like this form better?" he stays one step behind you.

Internally, you groan, "Exactly how many of these 'forms' do you have?"

"Endless," Loki smirks proudly.

You roll your eyes, "God."

"You've already met that form, Darling," you ignore that last comment, finally reaching Mason and her team.

A few hours later, all of you are sitting around a fire having dinner.

"Pass the salt," Loki says with a mouthful of food.

You pause your chewing and look down in front of his plate, "It is literally right in front of you."

"Yes, but I am eating," he takes another fork-full.

You wave your fork, midway to your mouth, already with food as well, "And what do you see me doing?"

"Not handing me the salt," Loki uses his fork now to point at the salt shaker.

"Which you could have had and used about 10 times already," you match his movements with your own fork.

"You are the most infur..." the salt remains on the table as you both continue to bicker.

"God! You two sound like an old married couple!" Mason groans and hands the salt to Loki/Conrad.

"We most certainly do NOT!"

"Never associate that word with us ever again," both Loki and you say in unison, respectively.

Mason holds her hands up in surrender. A minute or so later, after some much needed silence, she looks at you, "You have not changed."

"Good to know that you have always been this unbearable," Loki mumbles.

"That's not what I mea..." Mason frowns.

You look-up and realize Mason's intended reference, "That's EXACTLY what she meant." You send Mason a warning stare.

Loki spends the rest of dinner and the night trying to put more of the pieces together.

"Should we really be following these people?" Loki asks you quietly at the back of the line as you follow Mason and her team.

You watch your footing through the forest, "By all means, go back to my ship."

Loki stops walking, turns back around, and then huffs.

"Something the matter?" you sarcastically ask as you  keep walking.

Loki may have paused, but his long legs catch back up to you quickly, "Everything looks the same here. There are no discerning features in any direction."

"Please," you shake your head.

"I am a GOD, not some...Tracker," Loki now walks a few steps ahead of you.

"Yet you were able to TRACK me down anywhere in the palace," you hum. "Interesting."

"Maybe you just wanted me to find you," he turns around, now walking backwards.

"Oh, believe me; it was quite the opposi-" your eyes fixate on what's behind Loki.

"Has my new form finally left you speechless?" Loki stops walking.

Just ahead, Mason and her team have also stopped just before a clearing, "This is why I called you here."

You walk past Loki, who turns around as you do, to view the clearing, "What happened?"

"We've been treating him here, but..." Mason follows you.

You go to step into the clearing closer, but Loki tugs your arm back, "Have you gone mad?! Are we viewing the same thing?"

"I AM a mad one," you take the step back when he does. "With a box. And yes, we are."

Mason glances down at Loki still holding your elbow, "Kong has not stood in nearly a week. That's why I called."

"You have NAMED that beast?!" Loki looks between you and Mason.

You both aim glares at him for his choice of term, but then you look back at Mason, "Have you inspected?"

Mason nods, "Infection started in the right arm it appears. Looks to be a bite or scratch of some sort."

Now you step closer, Mason and Loki right behind you as you kneel down to the other-worldly sized creature, "Long time no see, Big Fella."

His breathing might be short and fast, but a small smile appears on Kong's face at the sound of your voice and when you get into his line of vision, to which Loki nearly falls over in disbelief.

Author's Note: I am SO SORRY for the delay in this part! I have been super busy in general, which if you also follow on TikTok, you'll notice a smaller amount of posts as well. I think this is probably the closest I've been in terms of the two though lol. Hope you'll continue to stick around xx
