SUPERHERO ACADEMY
Spider-Man walked into the halls of the academy, reading the templates hanging outside the classrooms. He was trying to find the right classroom for the engineering class.
"Why don't they give me a map? I am late again..." he sighed with defeat as he passed someone while looking down in defeat.
"*Ahem*" coughed at the person to gain his attention. He ignored the voice as he ran his hand down his face. He knew if Storm got to know he was late again, she would chew his ear out.
* Mr. Spider-Man!" He called out the voice sternly, his head snapping to the voice as a chill ran down his spine.
"Oro.... Ms. Munroe, hey, I didn't see you there," said Spidey, trying to act cool in front of her, but he was sweating heavily.
"Sigh. I wanted to see if you would come to this class on time, and you did not disappoint." Ororo sighed in disappointment as she observed Peter's punctuality, or lack thereof. He chuckled nervously as he met her narrowed gaze.
"And you did not disappoint me; you are late by 10 minutes, Spider-Man," she said as she jabbed her index finger on his chest.
"Sorry, ma'am. I was lost," said Spider-Man, trying to defend himself, but Ororo looked unimpressed.
"I will ask Kitty to hand you a map. What can we even expect from you?" She said this as she walked away from the class.
Spider-Man sighed and walked into the class. The engineering room was big, with some Iron Man suits standing adjacent to the walls. There were many shelves in the far corner room, filled with equipment that they may need.
He then noticed students tinkering with some machinery on their individual work desks. There were some familiar faces from class, like Valeria, Riri, Miles, Gwen, Anya, Hope, Kamala, and Iso.
And he knew some from young Avengers like Nadia Pym, Cassandra Lang, Nathaniel Richards, and, surprisingly, Kate Bishop. And there were some new faces too, mostly young SHIELD recruits, but he was able to recognize the duo of Audre and Connor.
"Welcome, Mr. Spider-Man," greeted Connor while Audre looked at him unimpressed.
"Hey Connor, you can just call me Spider-Man or Spidey," Peter greeted with a friendly wave, as Audre let out a sigh and carried on with her task.
"I didn't know Audre was interested in engineering." Asked Peter as he looked at the girl.
"As a future field agent, I am expected to be knowledgeable about everything. I had expected that you would have been aware of that," Audre replied with a touch of sarcasm in her voice. Connor looked sad at Audre's behavior while the others snickered at her words.
"Okay, it's good," said Spidey as he laughed awkwardly. He then looked at everyone as they were doing their own thing.
"Mr. Stark has informed you that he has given you all some tasks. I won't interfere with your work; if you have any doubts, you can ask me, as I will be on the teacher's workbench," he said, but no one paid him any mind except his students and Connor.
He walked towards Tony's workbench, which was separated by a wall to give him some privacy. Firstly, he booted the supercomputer and inserted a USB drive. It was a precaution so that his work wouldn't be monitored by Jarvis.
