HEROES ACADEMY

On the next day after the accident in the Danger room, Spidey stood before the entrance of the academy. Finally, he was on time for once; he breathed deeply with a smile hidden under his mask.

" Perfect, Ororo can't scold me today and my day can't be ruined," said Spider-Man as he gazed at the sky with his hands on his hips. His chest swole with confidence as he was sure nobody can ruin it.

" BUB! YOU ARE DEAD!" came the angry voice of one angry badger.

"Huh?" Was the only thing he was able to say as Logan grabbed him from him chest part of the suit, behind him he can see Laura who looked at him with a smirk that she hid quickly. She will treat her old man to a beer on Krakoa as he was literally holding Spider-Man from his collar.

"What the fuck did you do yesterday, Bub?!" asked Logan with an angry look. Spider-Man looked at him with confusion, but slowly something clicked in the back of his mind.

"Please don't tell Ororo," said Spidey in a scared voice, Logan growled at him then sighed.

"I don't want to die too, why did I even give you permission for Danger room?,"said Logan as he rubbed his face.

"Give me the tools, I will fix it in best of my abilities," said Spidey, he really hopes he can fix the danger room before Ororo finds out.

"Fine, Laura, go to your classroom and Bub follow me," said Logan grumpily, Laura gritted angrily and walked away.

DANGER ROOM

FEW HOURS LATER

In a corner of the Danger Room, shadows danced menacingly around a workbench, where Spider-Man perched like a nervous monkey, fiddling with wires under the watchful glare of Wolverine.

"Just a harmless short circuit, Wolvie," Spidey chirped, his voice tinged with forced optimism as he wrestled with a burnt capacitor. "No biggie, I can have her purring like a kitten in no time."

Wolverine snorted, nursing a cold can of beer early in the morning.

"Kitten?" he rumbled, voice laced with sardonic amusement. "You spend too much time with the cat."

"Come on, Wolvie. I do not, it's the other way around," Spidey wheedled, his fingers fumbling with a screwdriver. "And it was just a little test of my new suit where I collided with the wall. You have to see my new suit sometime."

Wolverine raised an eyebrow, the tip of his tongue tracing the bloody groove on his cheek. "New Suit, huh? For what? crashing the danger room. Why are you even making a new suit?"

Spidey's grin faltered.

"Alright, alright, Wolvie," he conceded, the sheepishness in his voice a stark contrast to his usual bravado. " My bad. There's a new speedster in the block, faster than speed demon and I need to catch the speedster before more damage will be done."

" How about we fix this little oopsie before Ororo catches a whiff of smoke and decides to give us a lecture on being irresponsible? For now, it's done, let's test it out" said Spider-Man as Logan looked at him with a sigh and guided him towards the control panel.

Spider-man used the panel and was happy to see it working, he then browsed through the catalog of scenarios for the training. He frowned slightly at the list.

"Don't you guys have villains from New York? or any other smaller areas," asked Spider-man as he looked at the data.

"No, the database majorly consists of the bigger threats to each groups," replied Logan as he emptied the can with a last gulp.
