Exactly! No one is in the conference hall. The conference hall there use to have their meeting is empty. I sneaked in silently and found the exact place Zaden use to seat. In the first row, I took the glass of water that was on the desk and poured it into the flower vase, then I took out my water bottle from my bag and poured the enchanted water into the glass I'm expecting Zaden to drink from.
Then I sneaked back to my office immediately without getting caught or questioned. Something was off today, since I came in the morning. Everyone has been staring at me and whispering things I couldn't hear. Then Paul walked over to me with a long face.
"You came." He said meekly.
"Of course, good morning. Mr Paul Michelle." I greeted him.
"Don't worry, I know it's a bad morning for you. You should have taken a day off." He said. "Take this I just drank little from it." He offered me his coffee.
I was surprised. "Why is it supposed to be a bad morning? Mr Michelle."
"Wait, haven't you seen the anonymous bulletin board?"
"No, I haven't." I said and took out my phone from my bag and checked the anonymous bulletin board group on my WhatsApp.
I couldn't believe what I saw! This is exactly what happened yesterday evening. I confessed my love to Zaden and he turned me down. Everything was there! Someone recorded the video.
But who?!
I ran a hand into my hair, totally pissed. I left Paul and found a place alone in the hall.
I was sure I didn't see anyone around, was someone hiding?
Oh, Tristan Colloway. He's the only person that saw us. He posted this video, he did it. I knew he was a complete jerk disguised with a handsome face.
I won't let this slide away. I walked to his office in his haste. I banged in and stood right before him. "You did this?!"
"I didn't." He replied quickly, as if he was expecting me to come to his office.
"You're lying? You're the only person that saw us!"
"Take a look at the video again. It was taken right behind you, I was in front of the company. Someone took a video of you and Zaden and its not me." He replied smoothly.
Of course it couldn't be him. It wasn't taken from his direction, someone did it. I'm completely dumped, everyone will take I'm lame in this company. I've already became a subject of discussion. I left his office and back to my seat. There I found Samantha and Rachel looking at something in their phones and laughing.
"Is that, perhaps a love confession?" Samantha asked.
"Yes." Rachel replied and they erupted in laughter.
I knew it, they were imitating me. I walked slowly to my seat and started walking for the day, I ignored everyone. That's it, stay strong girl! I got this! Fighting!
I only had one wish, and that's Zaden should drink the enchanted water and of course, he should fall for me. Can't wait..
"Irene..." Rachel said.
"Y-yes."
"..." Samantha and Rachel.
I continued working.
"We wanted to sympathise with you, you just got dumped yesterday. I'm sure you're feeling horrible. Sorry." Rachel explained.
"You should have taken a day off, everyone is talking about it in the company." Samantha said with a sad and yet annoying face.
