I switched off the lights in my room the moment I lied down on the bed. It was such a long day because I'd hang out with Tristan to numerous places. I have to go to bed and get ready for tomorrow.
I saw the shadow of someone walking around my room. The shadow of a man obviously. My gut twisted as I started trembling in fear. Is it a ghost? Or a human? Is it that person that use to roam around my room before? Or is it Zaden?
I got out of bed, my hands shaking and my lips trembling. I took a long stick from my kitchen and walked to the door, quietly and slowly. I have to catch the person and call the police.
Can I do this? I've never done something like this before? I've never saved someone, talkmore of saving myself. I'm just a weak being who wants to be protected by others, because I'm weak.
But right now, they's no one to protect me. Once I suck in the plan, the culprit will get me and take advantage of me. So I have to be careful. I mustered some courage and placed my hand on the door knob.
Then suddenly, Tristan's voice rang in my ear. Good job, you should always stay in your room when this type of things happen. I pulled my hand away from the door knob remembering his words.
I switched on the lights and went back to bed. I'm not sure if I can fall asleep now that I'm scared, but I have to rest.

The next day...
"Did you here about the news?" Rachel asked when I arrived at the office.
"What news?" I asked curiously.
My heart beating, silently. I said a silent prayer and hoped it wasn't about me this time around.
"Mr Calloway and his girlfriend broke up." Rachel said.
Oh. Better. Is this it?
"I was surprised when I heard about the rumours, and the most shocking thing is that she just transferred to this company not long ago." Samantha said.
They both chuckled.
I was surprised. "How did you hear about it?"
They both looked at me surprised. "Nothing hides in this company, even if it's your personal matter. You just have to be careful."
"And I heard that he was the one that dumped her, I feel bad for her." Rachel said.
"I knew their relationship was going to nowhere, he deserves someone better." Samantha pouted.
"Like...you?" Rachel asked.
"Of course." She replied and they both chucked.
"Irene, sit down. Both of you should be silent and go back to work." Sarah said.
I sat down silently and sorted out the files that were needed to be signed and reviewed by the attorneys. I smacked on a sticky note onto the pile of papers saying what needed to be done. We had a group meeting for a few minutes and took some brief note.
We had lunch by twelve and we continued working. Samantha had a consultation with Tristan and she was very excited. She took a lipstick from her handbag and applied it, she didn't know I and Rachel had were looking at her. Then she removed her upper button and loosed her hair.
What?! Is she planning on seducing my boyfriend?!
Gosh, I'll kill her.
She took her file and headed to his office. I immediately took my phone out and texted him.
Me:
Rachel Anderson is heading to your office. If anything happens I'll kill you both.
Wait, that sounds like I don't trust him.
I immediately deleted the message and closed my eyes.
TRISTAN CALLOWAY
"Come in."
The door was opened and a young girl came in. She's from team two.
"Hey." She said flirtatiously.
"Hey?" I asked sarcastically.
"I mean, good morning." She smiled.
"Morning, have a seat."
"I'm here for consultation." She announced happily.
I heard a bing from my phone and I checked it. It was from Irene.
'This message was deleted.'
She sent me a message and deleted it? Was it a mistake?
"Can I have your file?" I said and stretched my arm.

She came back looking depressed. She threw the file on her desk and sat down aggressively.
Rachel turned to her. "What? He didn't got to look at you?"
"Shut up." She said quietly.
Rachel started laughing silently. Huh! That's what she get for trying to seduce my boyfriend. They said I'm flirting with men at work, but on the contrary they're the ones doing that.
